Hi,

I have a lot of friends who are either from pakistan or from parts of india where urdu is used a lot. They dont generally speak the way the characters in khwahish speak. Dont you think that the writers have gone overboard with the urdu content of the serial?

Yes you are right. I even have lots of friends from pakistan and india but they do not speak such a heavy urdu.One of my pakistani friend told me that what they are using in serial is the real urdu words, because real urdu according to him is close to farsi language and its not seen toomuch in routine life.

Please forgive me if i am wrong.I did not mean to hurt any urdu speaking friend form india or pakistan

yeah i speak urdu wid my parents. they r speaking urdu but it's not tha urdu ppl in pakistan speak.
