I think DV's mom is justified in saying these stuff. From the POV of a caretaker of a full family, her first concern would be the well being of the entire family. I didint think she was a schemer. I mean it is actually difficult to survive in a family with everybody around you is against a single person. She herself has been thru a tough relationship. In a family individual relation has to merge with all other relationships. Theirs a joint family, so being the lady of the house she was correct that ultimately DV will loose his family. Because DV loves Saachi and he will always be concerned abt Saachi which will lead to rifts betwn DV and all other family members. She didn't speak to her infront of everyone because certain things need to be discussed privately. Nahin toh it will lead to heated argument. I think if everyone would have agreed then she wouldnot have had any issues regarding their age diff.

DV's father and DV's mother, their not agreeing to their marriage has completely diff basis. One is abt money the other abt breaking of family.😊
