Experience the Grandeur of the Star-Studded IIFA Fashion Extravaganza at the IIFA Weekend 2008!!
Priyanka Chopra, Harmna Baweja, Kareena Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Vivek Oberoi, Zayed Khan, Rietesh Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdesani amongst others walk the ramp at the IIFA fashion Extravaganza The International Indian Film Academy, the grandest celebration of Indian Cinema, since inception has been dedicated to building bridges across cinemas, businesses, communities and nations. In line with its innovative spirit, IIFA this year too, showcased unique events in an attempt to enable Indian Cinema aficionados experience stardom. Highpoint of this year's IIFA celebrations was the glamorous IIFA Fashion Extravaganza with leading Indian and Thai designers presenting their fashion lines at this prestigious platform. What makes the IIFA Fashion Extravaganza even more special is that the beneficiary is the IIFA Foundation, a charity organization set up by IIFA to support families of the film industry workers who have been adversely affected during the production of a film. In the second day of the IIFA Weekend Bangkok, the IIFA Fashion Extravaganza, presented by alternative clothing brand Mufti and Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, was held at one of Thailand's most high profile venues, the Siam Paragon Hall. The glitzy extravaganza hosted by the effervescent Karan Johar, showcased designs by Alta Moda, Mufti, Sabyasachi, Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra and Vikram Phadnis. Gitanjali Lifestyle and Diamrusa, this event Brought alive the dreams of fashion and movie addicts, alike. Leading Indian cine stars walk the ramp as showstoppers for their favourite designers. While Vidya Balan added the elegance to Sabyasachi's line, Kareena Kapoor glammed up the quotient for Manish Malhotra's designs. The cast of the forthcoming film De Talli, Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh and Ayesha Takia walked the ramp for Vikram Phadnis and the Love Story 2050 couple ' Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja were the showstoppers for Rohit Bal. Mission Istanbul cast - Zayed Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Shriya Saran, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Nikitin Dheer, Shweta Bharadwaj also set the ramp on fire, while showcasing the look of the film.
