Galuk 1985, that's how Prachi looks everytime she sees Milsi's confused look! Poor Panchi , it is really tough to have that expression and that too for long moments. Atleast for her sake they should finish of this PA track soon.

There are enough and more ideas to get out of the mess. It is just that they dont want to to get out of it! Seems like they are really enjoying themselves in all that muck. If they are getting paid to show this repeated crap, then I guess they are getting their salaries without having to work for it. BT, you better send them all home and recruit a couple of talents from this forum! They will do much better than the non-working creatives.

Good post optimist. I don't necessarily think that it's the creatives not getting paid enough but rather think the face of entertainment is going through a pardigm shift. With the IPL take over of the top popularity slots, I sense that the big business honcho Ms. Kapoor obviously is way ahead of thinknig about what's next?
Ekta has shifted gears suddenly to Mahabharat, a very ambitious project of hers, that's going to take her away from day to day running of KYM. Interestingly, she also hasn't voccally come out against Prachi Desai for quitting Kasam se to foray into bollywood and will probably not do the same for her blue eyed boy Shabbir. Don't get me wrong, I am hapy for Shabbir though. In all this KYM's bound to suffer.

Shabbir is obviously looking to grow (and he rightfully ought to) in popularity and his medium. He's stepping into Bollywood, and obviously one film might not mean much time to shoot, but the promotions, marketing (IIFA ramp walk and attendance) plus various other events to network is defintely going to burn him out at some point even if he has the best intentions.

Just mere postulations....I'm happy to debate.

Janki, he already is having PA, going by all the repeated scenes he is writing for the show.

SF, I dont think Ekta is involved in the day to day running of any of her shows, not now, not before. She is involved in them when they start off and then lets the rest of the team take care after a couple of months. It would be humanly not possible to keep daily tabs of 12 serials which are on air now. Even if she does, I dont think things would be much different. BT mindset needs a revamping before any good can come. Quantity at the expense of quality is definitely going to bite them big some day.

About Shabbo, the guy has been repeatedly saying that he will continue to work in both media, T.V. and movies as he feels one does not impinge on the other. As to his getting burnt out, I dont think so. The guy is only doing one show now. There was a time when he was doing three - KTH,KA and KZK. Even in KYM he had the most intense part to play during the PIM track when his MI shoot was going full swing. He had banked his scenes for a whole month before he left for the shoot. So attending a few functions to launch his film cannot explain the sparse role he has to play in the current track. I am sure he would be more than willing to get out of the artistic rut this track is putting him in. However, he is not one to complain about his scenes and is just going about doing his job, which, in anycase is not much thanks to the uncreative creatives.

I agree that EK isn't paying these cretins well or not at all...but have you wondered why they stay on....that's bcoz no one else will have them in their production houses. They'll be shown the door, sure thing.

"Ekta Kapoor's writers?" they'll scream with a shudder. "No way, Jose!"

No wonder these fools have no choice other than to stay on in BT, pay or no pay!

Angel's life, I am being sarcastic dear. Who knows whether they are paying them or not. If they are and we are still getting such crappy repetitive plots, then they are waisting their money, for these guys are not doing any job. If they are not paying them, then we know why they are not doing their job.

And yes, Pippa. These guys will be unemployed if they are thrown out, for which production house will want a pack of uncreative brains like these?
