Suki’s deliverance

Suki's raaz is finally out to everyone. The raaz that threatened to tear Michi apart has finally come out and broken SS relationship as expected. But is it really that bad for Suki? I personally think that Suki would have had a peaceful sleep on the night she returned back to SM. Hiding a secret as huge as this for so long is no joke, especially if the person you are keeping it from also happens to be the one you love dearly. It eats away your conscience and disturbs your peace. I know Suki is a totally irresponsible character and may be she does deserve what she got. But I couldn't help feeling sorry for her.

I wouldn't consider her liaison with Alaap a grave sin. Yes, she was foolish to trust a no-gooder like him. But what she did wrong was to shy away from accepting the consequences of her actions. If only she had faced it then, Ritwik would not have had the ignominy of being a parent less child, shuffled around and having to be the cause of serious misunderstandings between two innocent people. She may have had the best intentions at heart when she wanted to come clean with her brother but I guess the one person who deserved to know the truth, her husband, was always kept in the dark. Granted she did want to come clean before marriage and he did not hear her conversation but should she not have confided in him when she realised he did not know it? If she had explained her position Saket may well have accepted her.

Despite all her omissions and commissions, I still think the girl has been through a lot of emotional upheavals. It is not a joke to see not only the 'dead body' of your child twice but also see his life endangered in front of your eyes. It is a sheer torture for any mother. As the saying goes, the coward dies a hundred deaths the valiant dies but once. Suki must have been dying inside every day, although the creatives did not concentrate on this aspect much (given their lackadaisical attitude towards even the leads in the show).

By choosing the apparently easy path of holding her tongue she had condemned herself to a lot of psychological and emotional stress. So the truth coming out yesterday has really given her a deliverance from the torture she must have been going through living such a big lie.

I hope she has more sense than to trust the snake in the grass Alaap all over again and make her brother's life miserable all over again for if she gets hurt it is her brother who would suffer the most, given his love for her.

Honestly...i did feel bad for her...just like you said...what had happen earlier wasn't entirely her fault...she fell for alaap's trap...

Now all i hope is that she wont be foolish enough to fall for his trap again...

But i'm happy that it was out...hopefully wont hear the word Raaz anymore...

It just struck me that the one person who will be oblivious to Suki's suffering would be Milsi. Since he does not know Suki is married, he will not suspect something is wrong if she is back at SM. She can always say that she had left the 'hostel' to be with her brother! So atleast the PA track has done one good thing, it has sheltered Milsi from the pain he would definitely feel for his sister's broken marriage!

I know its probably quiet harsh but frankly I dont have much sympathy or time for Sukriti...I agree with you Optimist...she did not accept responsibility for her child and yes she is a mother and she shouldn't have to see her child in pain but why is it that her maternal insticts only arise when Ritwik is in some sort of danger?? She is able to conveniently forget him otherwise...Agreed she was duped and concieved the child when she thought she was married but it was the concequences that she wasn't sensible enough to bear...I'm not for a second laying the blame all on Sukriti because Alaap is at fault too. I think this is the main problem with Kayamath...None of the characters have the courage to SPEAK except for probably Ayesha but we hate her for that anyway.

I agree that Milind would feel pain for his sister and the state of her marriage but given the current track can Milind see beyond Ayesha? and why is it that Ayesha is able to feed him lies about the last year and that wont disturb his mental balance but his sister cannot be married. I think the one that will fare worst out of this is Saket who is a forgettable character to say the least but lets give him his due...he was the one being lied to and decieved...and I'm glad that he did not magnanimously accept Sukriti and Ritwik because she simply did not deserve it...if she had told him the truth earlier and he had done the same thing we could perhaps have been angry at him but poor guy..it has been so long and does he even find out from her? (I'd like to know, I didn't watch the eppy)

Sukriti back at Shah Mansion, sure she has some peace now, she cannot accept Ritwik as her child because of her brother...how long will this continue??

As for Milind PA...why does he NEVER ask questions?????? Who is that child??? anything...

p.s. Sorry for going ridiculously out of topic...

Rima I still doubt if he has even seen Ritwik in that house!
Earlier he could only see that woman Ayesha, and now, I think his focus has shifted to Prachi!
