Opti, good argument. One would think Milind learnt from his own experience. Why should Saket be different from him?

Here's a man whose honesty has never been questioned except at one point when he bribed someone in business. At least in personal relationships he's been above board. He expected there to be no lies bt him and his wife. Why should he expect his sister to live the rest of her keeping things from her husband? Imagine the strain on Suk and ultimately on the marriage.
It's one thing if the child was somewhere else but he will be a constant reminder as he'll be a member of the family.

I'm afraid my respect for Milind's taken a downward swoop. ofcourse, he's made to do this merely for the crappy track.

The only problem is, just as I can't bear to watch JW/RK anymore without kicking him where it hurts most, I might end up feeling the same about Shabbir for no fault of his!!

my thoughts on milind's double std.

as long as milind is fair or has a similar equation with prachi. it is ok.

i mean its suk's life, and he cant impose his std of honesty on suk/saket's life ?

Double std is when yu do x and expect others to do x+1.
I think as far as milind's personal life is concerned with prachi, double std are not there.

fINALLY its suk's life, milind cant be expected to impose his standards on her..

Nobody in Kayamath thinks it's Sukreti's DUTY and OBLIGATION to take care of Ritwik 😆😭

Magno - Prachi will take Milind into confidence the next time she goes on a crusade to protect someone!!!!!!

Perhaps she was just scared of his reaction towards Sukruti this time, and hence hid it from him.....these two have hardly spent time together as a couple, and it does take a while to anticipate your spouse's reaction.

Anyway.... 😊

No he cannot. That is why he had no business telling her to shut up about the truth. Either he should give her sound advice or tell her to do as she feels right. Here he was giving her the wrong advice and will soon pay for it big time.

Opti and Magno i read your post and since they were very long i didn't quote them.

Opti: i didn't support Milind's actions but i just said that i am not surprised nor am I disappointed in Milsi. I expected him to do this and therefore was not disappointed. It would have been a very pleasant surprise and a happy one if he had told Saket the truth or advised Suki to do so. But even with that advise Suki could never have found the right time to open her mouth in front of Saket and the truth would still come out in its ugliest form. My post merely said that Milind does not have double standards. Its the wrong term to use. He would have had double standards if he questioned Prachi on why she hid the truth from him. If he had criticized her for not telling him earlier, and then gone and told SUki not hide the truth still, that would have been double standards. But he let it go quietly endorsing Prachi's behavior (not that i am happy about it or wanted Milsi to do it). But the reason we didn't get that kind of confrontation between Michi is because the writers wanted to justify Milsi in hiding the truth.

Why did you question my love for my doll when i support Milind in this. I understood and accepted Prachi's inability to tell the truth to everyone and now I understand and accept Milind's reason to hide the truth too. Its unfair to Saket and we all know that the truth will come out sooner than later unfortunately but the characters are not thinking on those basis now are they. How many times i had wished my bro would support me unconditionally like Milsi does with Suki. But I have a sadu brother who always needs to assess the situation and think about who is right and who is wrong before he gives his support 🤔. But i guess thats the reason i respect him so much and wished Milsi to be the same. But the other side of that coin is that my brother too can never believe that i would do anything wrong, because he believes in the values he instilled in me. Everytime he analyzes a situation and it comes out that i am right, i can see the proud smile of his face. He is incapable of believing that his little angel can ever be anything but sweet and lovely to everyone. So i guess Milsi's dialog that his sister can never be wrong stems from his belief that he raised her right. Its unfortunate that even at this age she hasn't the mental maturity to take decisions and choose right and wrong for herself.

Magno: I do think Suki should be responsible for her children and her mistakes but in her current state she herself needs to become a mature and a better person before she can bring up children responsibly and make right decisions for them. Currently she is not even capable of making right decisions for her own life. I wouldn't make her responsible for another person's life. That is the reason i can't stand people getting married before they even get out of school and having kids right away before they get a handle on their own lives. Eventually they learn but the initial years that the child doesn't get expert care is critical. Especially if Suki becomes a single parent...with two children to take care of...that is why i want Michi to have Ritwik. Otherwise i would never support a child being separated from its mother. However, currently its in the best interest of Ritwik. Now is Saket happily accepts Ritwik, there would no longer be a question as to where Ritwik should be raised.

Yesterday when i saw Milind and Sukriti's confrontation, the first thing that came to my mind was-'Is this the same Milind i have been seeing for the last so many months?'..I cannot believe how much Milind has changed...I thought he would never speak to Sukriti ever again after knowing the truth. But i was absolutely taken aback by his reaction...It is a good thing that he understands his sister and realsies that it wasnt completely her fault, but he shouldnt advise her to hide the truth from Saket..That would create more problems later on...
But coming to the only funny thing yesterday-Milind was actually wearing that hideous 'P' ring throughout the episode! 😆
