what happened to the capturing of Inder's killer?????

kind of reminds me of this pakistani drama, Tere Pehloo Mein, where a female has been murdered. the storyline progressed a bit, then went back to all lovey dovey. They totally forgot about the storyline. The same seems to be happening over here as well.
