A cabby took the entire cast of Kayamath for a jolly ride, then dumped them, leaving them to spend an entire evening looking for their way back to the hotel

The cast of Kayamath who had recently been to Turkey for a special shoot were in for a shock when they lost their way in Istanbul. The actors had gone for shopping and sight-seeing when a cabby took them for a real ride and they were completely lost in the city. They had to make do with sign language (as they failed to communicate in the local language) while hunting for their way back.

Says Jay Bhanushali, aka Neev, "We took a cab to go to a shopping mall which was just 20 minutes away from our hotel. The cab driver was driving very fast and we were also cheering him on. In the process, he got so excited and he took us the wrong way. He took us way beyond our destination and then suddenly stopped the car. He then asked us to get off his cab and refused to take us any further. He gave us a lame excuse for doing so and said there was too much traffic ahead. We were in a complete fix."

Adds Jay, "We were tense as no one could understand what we were saying. The cab driver obviously knew that we were new to the city so he fooled us easily. Eventually, we took help of the cops, who told us to take a tram back to our destination. However, to our shock we again ended up getting lost, after alighting from the tram. We felt kept going round in circles. Finally I had to ask a college student to help us find our way. It took us hours to find our way back to the hotel."

So what did Ekta Kapoor have to say about this misadventure?

"Ekta had left by the time our unit had reached Turkey so I couldn't speak with her then. Also I don't think Ekta had to travel by cabs so she wouldn't know about it at all," smiles the actor.

The actor says he loved the the beautiful women in Turkey, but will always dreads cabbies there.
