This show is rotten to the core now. I was told that not all BT shows end on a happy note. KZK had a hopeless end I believe. So really don't know what to expect for this one.

KZK ending is due to be aired in the UK soon for the first time......but I read in articles that the female lead (Prerna) dies and is joined together in heaven with the original male lead....her first love (Anurag). This Anurag had put her through misery all throughout her life....and sometimes he bacame her friend....and sometimes he became her No. 1 arch-enemy.
The only guy who loved her unconditionally was Mr. Bajaj....whom she married after Anurag threw her out and divorced her believing she had been unfaithful to him. Prerna and Mr. Bajaj also went through some ups and downs in their marriage....but in the end....they had always ended up together.
To be joined in heaven with Anurag was the height of injustice.....since it was Mr.Bajaj who had loved her unconditionally and supported her all throughout her life. 🤢

That's BT for you Shubs although their show Bandini does look promising. Hope it stays that way. It is supposed to be based on a book. I guess they cannot ruin it then unless they rewrite the story. Try watching it- dispassionately though, just in case. Ronit Roy is excellent as the non nonsense widower diamond merchant who has married a village girl from a lower caste who is nearly three times younger to him. The dialogues are biting and the acting of the entire cast is superb. The sets are also more realistic.

Kayamath is also based on a book called 'Arif" or 'Areef" about two step-sisters. I think it is a Pakistani novel. This is what I read somewhere on an Ekta interview.

Yes, Kash it is totally unfair for Sumo to be stuck with Ayesha in Prachi's body. So I hope the creatives do not punish us further by showing Michi dead. If they take the KZK route and show Prachi dead but reunited with Neev, it would be the heights. The girl was not even married to him. I do hope they give this show a happy ending, the least they can do after subjecting us to so much torture in the name of senseless tracks.

If only these guys stick to the original version instead of using their non-existent brains to come up with bizarre story lines in the name of innovation. Personally I feel a show should not last for more than 9-10 months. If it does, degeneration sets in.

I used to watch some of the old shows.....Kahanii Ghar Ghar Ki, and Kkusum. Tried to watch the others....but lost interest after a month of so....then watched odd epis here and there of other BT serials ......but again lost interest very quickly. Kayamath is the only one that I have watched from Sep 2007 to date...that too every single epi.....this is a record for me......as I have a very low tolerance level for this kind of entertainment. Don't know what it is about the show.....but haven't been able to give it up!!! I even watched the beginning of Kaise ye Pyar hai....but lost interest after a couple of months.
However.....the new breed of shows in Star Plus are horrendous!!! All these teens running around playing at being married..........and all that rhona/dhona........🤢🤢🤢 I can't even identify with the settings.... I have a feeling the SP is slowly going to loose its overseas audiences very soon. 👏👏. I can't imagine someone in Indonesia or Saudi Arabia being able to identify with these shows!!
Sorry if I have offended anyone....but I just had to say this!!

How unlucky can a guy get.....This Anurag threw away the only good woman in his life....and ended up with being married to 3 other women (or was it 4)....all of whom tried to kill him....🤣. Now that is what I call 'divine justice'.....though ending was still nasty. 🤢

I agree...9-10 month limit....max 12 months. The serial starts to get stale after this time period.....and as you said....they should keep to the original source/text.....after all this is what peaked their interest in the first place to the extent that they wanted to put it on small screen/celluloid. Any deviation from the original is bound to dilute the effect.
