Munee--howz bhabhi doing with the kids?! i laughed the other day when i read ur comment on the lines of having/dealing with children with strong personalities!! ohh you lucky gurl!! ammm soo jealous of you--i'd totally be in awe of Ayesha (she's taking up her role of an elder sister beautifully)....i'd literally stalk her!! *yum-o-yummm*😆😆

My bhabhi's good and very happy with her two offsprings. Its not every day you get two of a kind...😉 Well Ayesha came in yesterday to meet her daadi I'm become quite invisible for the girl.... I think I'll have to remind her of my existence one of these days.

Chp 21

Two months had passed in the blink of an eye and now it worried Milind to think that pretty soon Prachi would be leaving him he had fallen quite in love with her. Each passing day had strengthened their bond of friendship and she had stepped in his heart noiselessly he wished God would have mercy and grant her to him. Baba's condition though remained the same Prachi's sessions had allowed him to speak in a slurred way but no noticeable improvement was seen in his limb control and that sometimes worried Prachi. She had come to treasure Milind the countless occassions on which he had helped her been by her side was heart warming for her. He was the first person to have instilled faith and confidence in her she no longer considered herself a jinx rather desired to live life to the fullest. Ali wished his friend to have his share of happiness he was the one who had granted him his. Ali had called Pam over for tea after their confession at the mausoleum that day, Nadra begum hadn't been too impressed with her knee length skirt and had warned Ali to get her to wear salwar kameez. She hadn't been against the match as she could see love burning her son's soul moreover she wanted him to get settled it could be any girl he would stay happy with then. Prachi had been blissfully happy to see Pam and Ali smile at each other warmly after Nadra begum had approved the match ofcourse Milind had been quintessential in getting her to assent on it.

"Chachi maan jaiye Pam achi larki hai aur phir uska duniya main koi nahin aapko bahu key saath beti bhi mil jaayegi" Chachi please say yes Pam's a nice girl and besides she's got no one as family you'll be getting a daughter in the form of a daughter in law he had assured her and Nadra begum had pondered on the thought. She had no one besides Ali and feared her denial might make him detest life moreso his quick temper sometimes worried her and she found it best to grant her approval than see her son fret in misery at her hands. "I'm so happy for both of you" Prachi had told Pam serving her tea in Milind's house "Ali tells me you'r quite a close friend of his" Pam had smiled at Prachi and she had laughed aloud. "Yes I beat him at carom each time" she had told Pam proud of her achievements. Ali had infact explained to her everything that had happened with Prachi elucidating on her innocence and childish nature which was quite visible to Pam when Prachi gloated on her better score at play. Ali had given Pam an I told you so look and she had nodded her head in submission. Pam had certainly taken a liking to both Milind and Prachi and wondered why they both didn't realize how much they loved each other. It was quite evident in the way they spoke, interacted and took care of each other. Ali's wedding was fixed for a month later since he needed to get his house painted before Pam shifted in with him and Pam had to make a few arrangements herself before the big day.

With Prachi at home to look after Baba Milind had stopped returning home in the afternoons he wished to earn enough to give Prachi all that she desired. It was only early morning at breakfast and at nightfall did Prachi get to see him. She felt unhappy to watch him slave away at menial jobs while he was capable of much better. "Milind can't you go find an office job? You were a financial analyst earlier remember. Why can't you resume a similar position now?" she had tried to talk to him one Sunday the only day she forbade him to go on his daily rounds. "Prachi if I go on a nine to five job who is going to take care of Baba?" he had debated. "well I am here aren't I?" she had replied in an irritated tone. "For how long?" he had wanted to know and her eyes had welled up immediately. "Mujhey waapis bhejna chahtey hain to bol dein main chali jaungi, har waqt kyun kehtey rehtey hain main chali jaungi" If you want to send me back just say it I'll leave, why do you keep reminding me about it she had been genuinely hurt with him remark and Milind had stood up in alarm. The truth was Prachi feared leaving Milind she could not understand her change of feelings but lately it seemed as if he was all she could think of, leaving him would mean leaving her life and that she did want to do at ant cost. "Are yaar mazaq ker raha tha... yeh ghar mera nahin tera hai. Jab tak rehna hai reh issmain kis ney mana kiya hai... terey Papa bhi leney aa jaayein to bhi mat jaana ok" I was joking Prachi this house is yours as much as it is mine you can stay here for as long as you want. So even when your Dad comes you can tell him you'r staying here ok he had followed her to his room where she lay sobbing hugging her pillow to her chest. Picking her up by her arms Milind had made her sit up removing the pillow from between them he had embraced her tenderly caressing her silken hair. "Bas itni sii baat per roney lagi" You cry on such simple things Prachi he had pacified her while her hands slipped around his broad form her tears drenching his shirt front.

"Ab nahin kaheingey mujhey jaaney key liye" You won't tell me to leave now she had questioned him through teary eyes and he had smiled brushing away the water droplets from her eyelids with his thumb pad. "Kabhi nahin" Never he had promised and she had smiled through her tears causing his lips to curl in relief. "Kiya Prachi dara deti hai tuu to mujhey" What Prachi you scared me he had scolded her gently "Or aap jo mujhey har pal daraatey hain uska kiya" And what about you scaring me all the time she had complained softly lowering her head. He had lifted her face placing his finger under her chin and bending forward had placed his first kiss on her milky forehead. She had felt so soft under his plump lips and he had to fight the urge to let his mouth taste hers releasing her he had stared at her serene face her eyes still closed. "Ab daar khatam hua?" You still scared? he had inquired and a slow blush had crept across her cheeks. She couldn't believe she had been kissed by him though there was nothing new to his touch yet it felt exquisite and unique something she had never felt before. Smiling she had assented and let go of his arms that she had held at some point one that she could not remember. Despite his heart thudding at break neck speed Milind had felt this wave of joy sweep over him when he witnessed her cheeks turn pink under his gaze so she wasn't oblivious to his touch, it was just that she was quite inexperienced in this form of love. "Ab chalein khana bananey ya aaj bhook hartaal hai teri" Do we cook today or are you on a hunger strike? he had joked and she had smacked his arm lightly following him to the kitchen. The next day on Prachi's insistence he had collected his documents and donning his best attire decided to try his luck maybe she was right afterall he couldn't remain a taxi driver forever. Besides when he started earning a decent sum he could appoint a caretaker for his father or better still get him admitted to some good facility where his progress would indeed be rapid. He had noticed the marked difference in his father's speech and knew that if provided the proper treatment his father could indeed be well again.

"So Mr Mishra you've been a taxi driver you say, but your past record as a financial analyst seems remarkable. You were granted three promotions within the short span of a year, I see potential in you" Mr Khanna had smiled at Milind. "Well its about being given a chance Sir" Milind had replied warmly. He sat at the head office of Shah hotels they were recruiting new employees for their India branch and as luck would have it Milind bagged the job. He was elated he still wondered if it was all a dream and credited his good fortune to Prachi had she not encouraged him he would've never found the heart to go venture out in the business world again. The moment he stepped in the house he had swept her in his arms holding her high "Prachi Prachi Prachi!!!" he twirled her in jubilation while she giggled in his strong hold looking down at his flushed face. "Prachi I got the job... thanks to you" he had put her down and hugged her on impulse and she had lost herself in his warm embrace savouring the feel of his rhythmic beating heart against her heaving bosom. "Milind yeh sab aapki mehnat ka sila hai" Milind it's all your hard work paying off she had reminded him and he had planted soft kisses on her cheeks, nose and eyes making her blush profusely.

"Nahin yeh terey shubh qadam hain jab sey tuu aai hai sab acha hua hai" No its your good luck ever since you've come here its been all good he had grinned and she had smiled in wonder her eyes sparkling. Could she Prachi Shah bring luck to someone, holding her by the hand he took her to Baba's room where he informed him of his new appointment crediting Prachi entirely for it. Baba had held their hands together that was all he could do for the moment and had tried to congratulate Milind in his gibberish language. Milind had placed his father's hand on his head seeking his blessings for future endeavors which he had willingly granted. Making Baba comfortable again Milind had asked Prachi to get ready he wanted to treat her to anything she desired that day. Ali was informed of the happy news by Prachi who had sped to Kaaki and conveyed to her the joyous news. The small group had assembled in Milind's house and talked non stop so much so that when Milind emerged from his room dressed in a much comfortable jeans and white shirt he was surprised to see them all await him. "Chal Milind jaldi sey treat dey" Ok Milind give us a treat Ali had cornered him "Dunnga per aaj nahin, aaj Prachi ko ley jaa raha huun kal tum logon key liye kuch launga" I will but not today, I'm taking Prachi out tonight will bring something for you tomorrow he had promised. "Jaa maaf kiya tuu bhi kiya yaad rakheyga" Fine I'll forgive you just this once Ali had waved his hand in a kingly gesture making Prachi laugh till she tuned pink. Both Nadra begum and Kaaki had then wished Milind success in all that he chanced or wished to do in life. Smiling and thanking them both Milind and Prachi had left to spend a wonderful evening together.

I'm so happy for Milind, now he'll be able to use his skills and natural charisma and become very successfull, then he can provide for his father and hopefully we will see him get fit again. Prachi is his lady luck and boy does he know it!!! At least now she knows she is not a 'manhus'
