It looks like the new creative team which took over sometime in June has a fixation of introducing characters who have names matching the first letter of the leads they fall for. In the process the original third spokes in the wheel, Neev and Ayesha have been dispensed with and the leap introduced.
There is Proteek who has fallen for Prachi (matching P and P). There was Mallika who lusted after Milind (matching M and M). There was the possibility of a Mouli introduced as Proteek's sister but no sign of her yet. Now there is supposed to be a Mishti who may be introduced shortly and already people here are expecting her to fall for Milind (another M and M in the making?). I would rather she falls for Proteek, though. That way we can have another MP jodi, which in turn will pave the way for the reunion of the original MP jodi.
