Part-20
Both of them were standing on the rocks, near to the sea. The waves were high and were abruptly hitting the rocks with full force. The sea breeze was very heavy, their hair kept on the air, occasionally falling on their faces. They stood facing each other maintaing a six foot distance from each other. It had been a hour or so, since they arrived, but none opened their mouths. The only sound was heard was the waves hitting the rocks and those of sea-gulls. Milind kept on gazing at Prachi. Even prachi was gazing him for a long time. None of them smiled, they kept on gazing each other. Their eyes showed many unanswered questions regarding each other. A lone tear falls from Prachi's eyes. "why were you ignoring me, Prachi", she heard Milind's voice after a long gap of one month. She turns her face away from him, turns and faces the sea. She closes her eyes letting the lone tear to fall and mix with the sea water. He comes towards her, puts his hand on her shoulder. But she just removes his hand from her shoulder and goes away from the edge of the rocks. He holds her hand and stops her moving further, "Prachi, listen to me. I need to talk to you. I was waiting for this moment for months ago. For now the time has come, you are ignoring me, what's the problem, why don't you share with me. It's been a…………….". Milind stopped in a midway, a closed his eyes no allowing his tears to drop down, it was hurting him so badly.
It's been a month, since they talked after prachi had recovered from the accident. A whole month where Milind did not understand why she kept ignoring him. The day when they all met at the breakfast table, she started ignoring. At first he thought she was angry at him but he didn't find any reasons, for wht she should be angry on him. He kept aside all this until Prachi was fully recovered. He tried her mobile, it was not answered. When she visited their house, she didn't care to talk with him. He didn't understand what was the actual reason that she was not able to tell. He comes to the present. He was still holding her. He wanted to the answers for all his questions at the particular moment. He knows that she also love him, but he did not know why her behaviour had changed so suddenly. He knows that she was also hurted while she ignored him. The tears that were rolling on her cheeks were the answer for the question.
She didn't pull her hand from him or moved an inch from there. She stood there, now her tears were flowing on her cheeks. Her eyes were swollen from continuous crying. She did not understand how to answer all his questions, that could be clearly seen in his eyes. She knew that it was hurting him so badly. She didn't know why was this happening to her only. She did not want to loose him like her father. The dark secret had suddenly made her world upside down. She cursed the night, she heard the secret, the day when Milind had visited her secretly. After he left, she felt thirsty, she went down to the kitchen. But in the midway she stopped , hearing someone speaking loudly. She made her way towards the direction from where the noises where coming from. Instantly it led to NA's room. She didn't care to hear them , as she knew they would be arguing about their business stratigies. But hearing Milind's name prevented her to move forward. "We can't tell to Milind either, without any evidence, Neev. Why can't you understand it has been eight long years, how can you forget it. A slight thing aganist him, Milind will find an oppourtunity to……………….., it's regading my sister's life. I can't loose her. We are here to save her. She also doesn't know that her life is in danger." Prachi was shocked to hear this. She didn't understand why her life was in danger. She didn't find any apt reason for this. "Anyone who comes in between this, may loose their life, that's why Neev, that fellow can do anything for ………………….." after this she did not hear anything from inside except the sobs of crying. Why should it happen to me. She thought, if Milind comes to know about this, he won't spare the person. For this he would put his life in danger. I don't want to loose him. I really love him. Her thoughts came back to present.
"I know Prachi………………."Milind continues without turning towards her, "that you love me very much. But what's the reason that you are keeping me away from you. Why are you hurting yourself Prachi." "I don't want to loose you Milind." Milind turned towards her suddenly. He saw that she was kneeling down and crying bitterly. He lifts her chin, cups her face in his palms. "what happened, Prachi………." He didn't understand why she was saying all this. "I can't put your life in danger becoz I love you." He could hear her hiccupping in between her sentences.
"why would my life be in danger. Tell me." He sees her still sobbing. "don't you trust me." "it's not like that Milind. I started trusting you from the day I met you." "then why don't you tell me the reason." "I don't want to loose you." She frees her self from him and starts running from there. He again holds her hand, stopping her. "this means you don't trust me Prachi. Ok, it's your wish. I won't force you." He frees her hand and stood there for a moment. Even Prachi didn't move from there, her tears even didn't stop. She was continuously gazing at the ground.
Both didn't ever expected this situation would ever come into their lives. The situation which changed both of their lives completely. Neither he or she could not live without each other, or cannot afford to loose anyone. It's only the destiny that decides their "KISMET", that whether they are made for each other or…………………
