my date with Milind Mishra....

He is not of dating types.. So, it will be an unusual date.

The situation is he is back from Turkey and there is no Ayesha and Prachi in his life. He has taken his revenge from Shah industries only by establishing his company against them.
I am an employee in his company who is very sincere and intelligent 😛.

I am the only girl in his company who wears Sarees only. It's Mumbai, so every girl in his MNC wears western outfits. Natually, I stand out for him while others find me old fashioned and boring. He doesn't forget to give me that one sharp look whenever we cross each other in the office which makes my heart beat faster.

I hardly get to speak to him as I am quite reserved and he doesn't talk a word more than required. And my grumpy boss hardly has any words in his vocabulary when it comes to 'these' things 😉.

But one lucky day, he chooses me to do a presentation with him in Panchameshwar for a deal with one of his most important clients. His managers oppose him as they find me very reserved and shy. But he says he believes in my ability and gives me the golden chance 👍🏼.

This is the first time in my life someone has shown so much confidence in me. I am thrilled and full of gratitude for him. I reach Panchmeshwar by taking train the next day and I am dressed in a cotton silk Saree. I have done my best for the presentation and I do quite well. Our company strikes the deal 👏.

While I am putting my files together to leave, Milind walks to me and thanks me for winning this deal for him and I thank him for giving me this opportunity. I tell him I have to run as I need to catch the train while he 'orders' me to stay back as he will drop me in his car😲.

I fail to refuse his offer though I really want to. I end up in his front seat losing my battle within me. I can't put my seat belt on as I am not used to travel in a car. He shows me how to put it on while he does his. He drives too fast and I am scared. He slows down. He suddenly starts telling me (starting with "pata hai....") how he used to travel by train everyday when he was studying. He tells me how life has changed for him where he owns an 'Audi' now. I am wondering why he is telling me all this but my ears want to listen to him until eternity. He tells me how he struggled to make his way up. Though I knew he had worked so hard in his life, listening to it from his mouth makes me feel I learnt 100 times more about him now. He stops for a coffee on the way and there he asks me about my family and background. The ill-famous 'reserved' me disappears to the setting Sun and I open my life in front of him 😳.

When we get back to the car we feel like we know each other from a long time. While I struggle to put on my seat belt again, he helps me out personally this time while my Saree gets stuck in his watch. He slowly removes it and stares into my eyes while I am trying to look away unable to face that intense gaze. He says "maine yeh baat aaj se pehle kisi se nahi boli hai, shaayad kisi se aage boloonga bhi nahi, par tumse yeh baat mujhe bolni hi hogi... kya tum mujhse shaadi karogi?"......... 😛.

I have a meek smile playing on my lips and my eyes get wet. I gesture a 'yes' slightly nodding my head. He smiles his million dollar smile (which I had never seen before) at me and starts the car where we drive to the road of togetherness 😊.
