Exactly, that is more confusing and looking all fake now (doing it repeatedly). May be the makers indicating that, there is some reason behind this hatred and he is not only hating Kavya, but also hating/torturing himself (especially, when he gets emotional after hurting Kavya).

Adi ka Sara mind sirf kavya se hate Karne mein finish hogaye hai. Because he even not make any sense able decision.

I hope, he is doing all this purposely/faking it. Otherwise, it doesn't make any sense at all.

OR the makers are just indicating that, he never loved/trusted Kavya ever and what they showed in 1.O was all fake.

Kavya is always alert and try to know what's happening around her and her family.
