kavya approached sarpanch who was also present among the crowd in the ground, "sarpanch ji, you told me that pharma company threatened you to keep quite that day please tell me if minister Giriraj pradhan was involved in it" asked kavya, sarpanch got panic and looked here and there making sire that no body is listening.. he held kavya's hand and askdd her to come in a corner, kavya agreed, they went to a corner where no one was there, "kavya me jaanta hoon tum bahut bahadur ho, lekin bahaduri aur bewaqoofi bahut chota sa farq hota hai"said sarpanch, "sarpanchji please mujhe gyaan ki nahi sach sunne ki zarurat hai.. bataiye, Giriraj pradhan bhi insab me shamil hai?" asked kavya.. sarpanch was sweating out of fear, "koi nahi sarpanch ji mujhe apne sawal ka jawaab milgaya"said kavya looking at sarpanch's restlessness, "kavya beta wo bahut khatarnaak aadmi hai, tum usse ladne me apne saare ghar walo ko khosakti ho"said sarpanch.. Kavya forced a smile on her face to ease Adhi, "jao Omi bhaiya bularahe hai" said her pushing him slowly.. Adhi half heartedly went towards omi but turned towards her as he was not feeling good about it, but got worried more on not finding kavya there anymore... "arey Adhi aao na"said Omi dragging Adhi to the stage.. and made him stand near Giriraj which was an unexpected move "Aur hamare laadle sahabzaade hum tum se bahut prasann hai bahut naam roshan kiya hai hamara"said Giriraj on mic keeping his hand on Adhi's shoulder, Adhi seeing the crowd kept quite and looked on confused, "Aaj se hum tumhe apne party ka member ghoshit karte hai"announced Giriraj shocking Adhi.. Adhi looked on in anger.. "jaydeep sahab apki ijazat ho to hum Adhi ko ghar lejana chahte hai diwali ki chuttio k lie" asked Giriraj over mic, Jaydeep smiled and said yes with his action.. Adhi was fuming in anger on Giriraj's act.. "Chalie phr ab hum sab chalte hai.. bahut bahut shubhkamnaye Kavya beta"said giriraj and pulled Adhi with him down the stage where his car was waiting, forcing him to sir while Adhi resisted, "mantri ji apni politics ka ganda khel hum per na chalaiye"said Adhi clenching his teeths, "to kya chahte ho tum, tumhari maa per chalaien?"asked Giriraj with a broad smile "Adhi bethja na" said Omi holding his shoulder... Adhi listening about his mother climed into the car silently... and the car left, leaving behind kavya who witnessed the stage drama..

Night time..

Jaydeep accompanied kavya to the campus as Adhi was gone..."so, kya socha hai IAS kavya Bansal?" asked Jaydeep.

"Kis baarey me uncle?" asked kavya "Ab training khatam hone per hai phir postings miljaegi..aur phr tum apni manzil tak pahunch jaogi"said jaydeep, Kavya smiled "You made me so proud beta"said jaydeep.."uncle apne minister Giriraj ko hi kyu bulaya tha aj?" asked her.. "kyu ke wo Adhiraj ke pita hai aur jahan tak me samjhta hoon tum aur Adhiraj bahut ache partners banoge islie..." said Jaydeep feeling proud of his work, "Aap ko pata hai? aj mujhe ek sach maloom pada" said kavya, "sach? jaise ki?" asked jaydeep "Giriraj Pradhan hi hai wo jo navya didi ka dawaiyo ke ghotale ke peeche tha"said kavya blowing jaydeep's mind "Kya? tum sure hai is baat pe?" asked jaydeep.. "haan humne do logo se confirn kia hai"said kavya "kaun do log?" asked jaydeep.. "papa aur sarpanch" said kavya.. "ab kya krna hai socha tumne?" asked jaydeep.. "me kya karta? pata nahi lekin shayad adhiraj Giriraj ka beta na hota to me tumko ladne ke lie kehta.. ek IAS officer ho tum, kanoon ko apna hatyaar bnao sach ke lie lado, jhoot ko harane k lie lado lekin Adhiraj ki wajah se me he bhi nahi keh sakta"said Jaydeep in deep thought.. "Adhi ke sirf unke bete hone se kya mera faisla badal jana chahiye" asked kavya, "kal ko agar tum us ghar ki bahu banogi to apne sasir ke khilaaf therogi?" asked jaydeep.. "Me apni bekasoor navya di ka hatyare k khilaaf zaroor therungi"said kavya, "Kavya tum isse apne aur Aadhi k pich faasle badhalogi" said jaydeep.. " sach to sach hai na uncle, chahe wo kisi ka baap ho ya beta" said kavya "aur agar iski wajah se tumhe Adhiraj k khilaaf jana pade to?"asked jaydeep. "sach mere ya Adhi k hisaab se nahi badlega na uncle" said kavya.. by now they reached campus.."chalte hai uncle aap apna khyaal rakhie" said kavya and left while jaydeep looked at ger way worriedly.

kavya enetered her room and the first thing she picked up was navya's photo frame.. she caressed it and cried.. "di aap tension na lo, me apke gunahgaar ko sazaa zaroor dilwaungi"said kavya crying to herself.. "Adhi kaash tum yahan hotey, bahut yaad aarahe ho" said her.. payal who was crossing by kavya's room saw her talking and crying to herself, she knocked the door and entered.. kavya immediately woped her tears.. "humko jab bhi guilt hota hai na ke tum ko room me akela nahi chodna chahiye tha tum humko ek wajah dedeti ho ye sochne ke lie ke acha kiya humne jo apna room badal liya" said payal sitting down beside her on floor.. kavya smiled at her, "Adhi ki bahut yaad arahi hai?" asked payal.. Kavya nodded her head in positive.. payal smiled and leaned back to take support of wall. " zindagi har samay hamare soch jaisi nahi chalti, hume uske hisaab se chalna padta hai"said payal, kavya looked at her, "haan hume poori baat to pata nahi lekin itna jaante hai aj jab uska baap use legaya to tumjhe acha nahi lagaa" said payal.. kavya kept her head on payal's shoulder while tears kept flowing, "Payal aaj subah hum bahut khush the, hume laga hum ye ladayi jeet gaye, lekin shaam hotey hotey pata chala ke abhi to ladai shuru hi nahi hui"said disheartened kavya.. "ek kaam kar na Adhi ko call krle shayad wo bhi tere lie aise hi tadap raha hoga"suggested payal, kavya looked confused, "arey itna kya sochna la phone apna"said payal and snatched kavya's phone and dialed Adhi's number.. the bell rang for long but went unanswered, kavya looked at payal with a sad face, "arey koi nai itne din baad gaya hai, apni maa se baap se batya raha hoga"said payal "tu soja abhi bahut thak gayi hai na, kal subah fresh hokar baat krenge"said payal getting up from the ground, kavya held her hand as she was about to go, "thanks payal hamare sath bethne ke lie, hume acha laga"said kavya.. "hoon me selfish lekin mere pass bhi dil hai, chal ab sojaa kal subah milte hain"said payal leaving the room with a smile,

kavya was missing Adhi a lot, she again dialled his number unable to control, but it again went un answered. kavya was dishearted and gave a sigh.. she felt suffocated so came out of her room for fresh air, she settled down on a chair, in the corridor, took out a romantic novel to read for diverting her mind, slowly she drifted off to sleep..

Adhi entered his homs with Giriraj and Omi,

"Malini dekho to tumhara laadla aya hai"shouted Giriraj.. malini pradhan came running out on hearing the news she was so overwhelmed to see him, she hugged him and kissed his forhead with love, "mera beta"said her hugging him "kaisi ho maa aap"asked Adhi lovingly. "Bahut miss kiya Adhi tujhe"said malini.. Adhi forced a smile seeing his mother's tear, he knew the pain behind her tears of happiness, he wiped them softly and kissed her forehead, "Ab hum aagaye hai na to in aasuon ka kya kaam?"asked Adhi.. malini smiled and asked him to come inside holding his hand.. "haan haan swagat karo apne bete ka bade karnaame jo kar raha hai"said Giriraj, "Netaji, mene to abhi kuch kiya hi nahi hai to apke ye haal hai agar kuch karunga to kya hoga?"asked Adhi.. "Us ladki se milne ki koi zarurat nahin hai" said Giriraj "kyu? itni mirchi kyu lag rahi hai aapko?"asked Adhi, " kyu? iska jawab dena hum zaruri nahi samjhte, aur na hi ab tumhe wapad jana chahiye academy kyu ke ab order letter bhi yahin ayega aur tum is saal hamare sath election me bhi theroge"commanded Giriraj and walked to his room.. "papa ne tumhare lie ek achi ladki dekhi hai Adhi, tum bhi kya time pass k cheezo se dil lagake bethe ho"said Omi.. Adhi glared at him, "Hum jab bhi apko apne bade bhai bolkar galey lagate hai aap humari peet me chura bhonk dete ho"said Adhi.. "ab tu ise chura bol ya phool, yehi tere lie sahi hai"said omi and left from there.."Maa aap kaisi ho?" asked Adhi.. Malini smiled and asked "kaun hai wo?" Adhi blushed.. " Aao hum batate hai"said him and took her mom to his room,

few hours later

"Pata nahi maa pareshaan thi wo, kuch kehna chahti thi.. bol rahi thi campus me zaroor milna baat kregi humse, lekin netaji aur omi bhaiya zabardasti hume yahan le aaye"complained Adhi.. while malinin caressed his hair, "Bahut pyaar karte ho na usse?" asked malini "Haan maa krte hai, aur wo bhi krti hai, bola nahi usne, lekin krti hai"said him in a confirmatory tone. "Adhi tu call kyu nahi karleta wo pareshaan ho rahi hogi na"said his mother.. " kahan se karein.. phone hamara phek dia hai raste me unlogo ne"said Adhi making an angry face "kya kehrahe ho? ek kaam kar mere phone se karle, number yaad hoga na?" asked malini, "haan yaad hai maa, sahi kaha aapne, dijie" said Adhi taking phone from malini's hand, he impatiently dialled her number, but the ring went off after a lond dial up tone, "Koi nahi beta wo sorahi hogi"said Malini.. "haan ma lekin bahut mann kar raha hai uski awaaz sunne k lie.. ek aur baar try krlein? uske baad nahi krenge" promised Adhi, malini smile and signalled to go ahead

Adhi again dialled her number but Kavya's phone was in room on silent mode and Kavya was in corridor making Adhi's call disconnect after a long ring, Adhi was dishearted and looked at his mom.." subah krlena, abhi sojaa"said Malini and made him lye down keeping his head in her lap, "Maa apko bahut pareshaan krte hain na ye log"asked Adhi.. "Ab tu agaya hai na.. koi fark nahi padta"said Malini.. "Maa kyu jhel rahi ho unko"asked Adhi, "tu nahi samjhega beta, bas kavya ko kabhi jaane nahi dena, apne aapko aur usko bachalena Pradhan ji ki satta se"said Malini, "ye omi bhaiya kya keh rahe the? ladki dekhi hai?" askdd Adhi.. "Haan opposition part ke minister ki ladki hai alliance ke lie teri aur uski shaadi ki baat ki hai, kal party hai jisme usko balaya hai tujhse milaane k lie, islie to tujhe zabardasti utha ker le aye hai"said malini.. "kya?" asked Adhi a bit shocked, "sambhal ke rehna unse, iraade sahi nahi hai unke"said malini, while Adhi hummed..

Next day morning

kavya saw calls from unknown number, she dialed back, as Adhi already saved her number in his mother's phone the screen displayed her name on it, Giriraj who was passing by saw the name of the caller, and was shocked, he immediately picked up the call when malini came running inside the room hearing the ringtone, she panicked as she saw Giriraj answering the call, she was damn sure that it should be kavya, Giriraj gave an angry look to malini and responded on call "hello?" aske giriraj, kavya recognised his voice and immediately disconnected the call, Giriraj looked at malini, how did you get her number asked him while malini kept quite and tried to take phone from his hand, He slapped her hard.. " meine kaha tha na agar me kuch poochu to jawaab dedena"said him "mera phone dedijie"requested malini trying to snatch it but recieved another forcefull slap from him making her about to fall but Adhi saved her and galred at Giriraj, "how dare you touched my mother?" shouted Adhi, "She is my wife I can do what I want" said Giriraj.. "Biwi hai daasi nahi jo jaisa chahein sulook karenge"protested Adhi, " Isse bhi bura sulook krenge agar tum aj shaam ko koi tamasha kroge"warned Gireiraj and walked away.. Adhi helped his mother sit right, "Adhi uspe zaroor kavy ka call tha" informed Malini.. Adhi looked on.. "Maa aap ab in sab me na pado me kuch na kuch karta hoon" said Adhi

Campus

Jaydeep was trying to convince rajeev on call regarding kavya and Adhi.. phone was on speaker..

"Adhi uske baap jaisa nahi hai, baad samjh rajeev"said jaydeep taking Adhi's side..

"Bhaisaab aap ne meri beti ka saath diya apne bete k khilaaf jaker is ke lie me bahut abhari hoon lekin sorry me apki baat nahi maan sakta, apni beti ko aise ghar me dene ke lie sochu jahan meri badi beti ka hatyara rehta hai kabhi nahi bhaisaab.. maaf krdena mujhe"said Rajeev disconnecting the call.. Kavya who had enterd a minute before unknown to jaydeep heard her father's decision.. she came near jaydeep who was dissapointed, "Uncle kyu itni koshish kar rahe hai aap"asked Kavya, "kavya mujhe maaf karna me bas chahta hoon ke tum aur Adhiraj ek hojao, meine dekha hai tumlogo ka pyaar"said jaydeep, kavya hugged him "me jaanti hoon uncle aap bhala chahte hai, lekin ab ye ladai mujhe akele ladni hai"said kavya.. "kya karna chahti ho tum?"asked Jaydeep, when kavya took out her phone and opened call recording playing her last recorded call.. it was Giriraj's voice

"Kavya beta, dekha meine aapka call Adhi ki mummy ke phone pe to islie socha tumko bata doon, Adhi ki aaj sagai ho rahi hai, islie ab se is raah ki sabhi liney wyast hai.. dubara kabhi call nahi kijie ga"played on phone, Jaydeep looked on worriedly speechless.. "me baat krta hoon Adhi se"said him taking out his phone.. "phone switch off hai, lagta hai unke kabze me hai ya usko damage krdia hai"said Kavya, "Matlab Adhi se zabardasti krwa rahe hai?"asked jaydeep... "shayad" said kavya..

"me kya karskata hoon tumhare liye kavya?"asked Jaydeep..

"kuch nahi uncle bas shubh kamnayein chahiye aapki"said kavya touching his feet.."jeeti raho.. uper wala kare ke tum jo bhi krna chahti ho usme kamiyaab ho"blesse jaydeep while kavya looked determined and smiled.

"jaante hai ke aaj tamasha hone wala hai.. lekin mera raja beta hamesha acha lagna chahiye"said her taking out kajal from her eyes and placing it behind his ears.. "isi teeke ko gaal per laga deti, ladki dekhkar bhaag to jaati" said aadhi making fun, "Maa pata nahi kyu hume uske yahan hone ka ehsaas ho raha hai" said Adhi, malini smiled at his nonstop banter. "lagta hai bahut miss kar rahe ho" said Malini. "hmm" hummed adhi hugging her, "ek kaam karna.. Pradhan ji ke phone se hi call krlena"said Malini and they both laughed at the idea.. Adhi, was nervously moving to and fro in the corridor as guest has started arriving and he still has not figured out a way to escape, just then someone grabbed his hand and dragged him to a corner, Adhi couldnt believe his eyes, he rubbed them, fluttered his eyes and scratched his forehead, "Me ne to pee bhi nahi phir bhi mujhe dikhayi de rahi hai" mumbled him.. but the other moment recieved a slap on cheek bringing out confusion "Kavya???" tum ho tum sach me ho?" said Adhi touching her hands for confirmation.. "ye kya nautanki laga ke rakhe ho jab se, hum tumhare samne khade hai aur tum kuch aur hi bakwas kar rahe ho"said kavya with a angry face.. Adhi laughed and hugged her "ohh kavya kavya kitna acha lagraha hai tumse baat krke, kitna miss kiya humne tumhe" said Adhi closing his eyes "haan itna miss kiya ke hamari yaad me sagayi krne chale ho na" asked Kavya frowning her eyebrows.. Adhi laughed again and broke their hug, "tumhe lagta hai ke hum tumhe chodkr kisi aur se sagayi?" laughed Adhi.. "Adhi bas haan,saare mard aise hi hote hai acha option mila to purane wale ko chod do"said kavya making a puppy face.. "jeete raho hamesha sath raho" blessed malini seeing them together, "waah maa apne to bina intro k pehchanlia" said Adhi.. "teri smile ne intro dediya tha beta"said malini pulling his ears, kavya blushed seeing them, "Maa me jo krne jaa raha hoon uske baad bada bawaal to hoga, ap sambhal kar rehna"said Adhi, "Bawaal ho ya tufaan aj to kuch aisa kar jaa k me sar ucha krke kahu, ye mera beta hai" said Malini holding his shoulder, Adhi bent down to take blessing "ahaan dono sath me aao"said malini stopping him, kavya smiled and joined, they both took blessings.. "Kavya ise pehenlo, tumper acha lagega afterall ab tum is ghar ki bahu ho" said Malini handing over a nice golden lehenga.. kavya nodded and accepeted it, tum ready hojao hum tumhare lie Adhi ki favourite jewellery nikaalte hai"said Malini making her blush.

after 20 mins kavya was all ready looking like a real time princess, Adhi admired her and tried to come near her but malini schooled him with her eyes, "sab shaadi k baad, descipline se raho tumhari maa ke samne ho"said malini in a serious tone, Adhi nodded sheepishly scratching his head.. "Chalo ab jao" said her holding her smile while kavya looked nervous.. "Darna nahin hai, ye ladai to abhi shuru hui hai" said malini boosting her morale, kavya nodded and walked towards the party hall with Adhi..

Giriraj was standing with all the ministers and all guests has almost arrived, when Adhi standing in the middle of the spotlight holding a mic tapped in to get the attension, Giriraj saw this and understood that Adhi is upto something and signalled Omi to take care but Adhi was Adhi.. "pehle mujhe lgta tha ke me apne baap per bilkul nahi gaya hoon lekin iske baad se shayad na lagey"said him over mic.. "kyu beta aisa kya krne wale ho?"asked a guest "kuch nahi uncle announcement krni hai, jaisa kal papa ne kiya tha" said Adhi.. Omi tried to stop him in the most decent manner but Omi's wife held his hand tightly making him helpless as he couldn't be aggressive in public, Adhi's bhabhi looked at Malini and asked her if its okay for the plan, for which malini showed a thumbsup.. "hum party join krne k lie tayyar hai, papa" said Adhi everyone clapped, "Waise hum bhi apne baap ki hi aulaad hai, is haath de aur us haath le"said Adhi "humne bhi tab tak ye baat nahi maani jab tak humare papa ne haan nahi ki" said Adhi.. "kis baat ke lie haan ki beta?" asked an aunty from the crowd, "Hamari shaadi ke lie hamare dil per jo raj krti hai usse" said Adhi "aur kaun hai wo?" asked another guest.. Giriraj hurriedly went near the mic trying to shut down the speaker but before he could do that.. "Kavya Bansal" has already echoed in the whole hall making everyone surprised, Giriraj fumed in anger and looked at Adhi, but was shocked to see Him standing with kavya holding her by waist and they both looking at each other with a big smile on their faces.. and the music started..

they both danced on the tune for a minute as an introduction to their chemistry mesmerising almost everyone over there except Giriraj, even Omi felt them made for each other unlike his and his wife Alka's pairing which was also done for political purpose, somewhere even Omi didn't wanted Adhi to suffer like this but he was more into impressing his father who usually didn't give him much importance and validation..

Adhi realised what impact it was making on her and immediately moved back making her sit but kavya was still to get out of it, Adhi tried to calm her down by holding her hand but she pushed it away as she could only hallucinate shubh with his develish eyes staring at her, she covered her self with both her hands, mumbling at the same time "no shubh please leave" Adhi pulled her in his embrace, "Kavya calm down, hum hai Adhi" said him tightening his hug, "kavya I am sorry mujhe aisa nahi krna chahiye tha I am really sorry" appologised Adhi stroking her back.. But it wasn't helping her much.. slowly she calmed down and drifted off to sleep in his hold.. Adhi felt guilty of not listening to her when she asked to stop realising that she is still trying to get out of the trauma, he kissed on her head and made her settle down properly covering her, he slept beside her caressing her head,

kavya woke up to the sun raise falling directly on her face, she realised she was in Adhi's house and most importantly beside Adhi who slept sitting.. she recalled how her past ruined their moment and hugged Adhi waking him up.. "Adhi I am sorry," said her.. Adhi smiled and completed their hug.. "I am sorry kavya, I should have listened to you" said him and caressed her hair and back.. "Tumko bura lag raha hoga na.. ke.." she couldnt complete as Adhi had placed his finger on her lips.. "Galti sirf meri hai, tumhari nahi, agar me tumhari haan aur na ka samman nahi karska to batao us rakshas me aur mujhme fark hi kya rehgya"said Adhi looking at her dreamily " Rishta chahe koi bhi ho, kal ko tum meri patni bhi banogi to bhi mujhe tumhari ichcha ka samman krna chahiye" said Adhi..

he kissed her forehead lovingly.. and looked at her with eyes full of desires but holding it back for her, Kavya too approached his forehead and planted a kiss "ek hi dil hai Adhi kitne baar jeetoge" said her and hugged him again..

"Tum apne aapko us shubh se compare nhi kro, bas baat ye thi ke achanak wo din jaise meri ankho ke same dobara replay hone laga tha" said her resting her head on his chest, "mera vaada hai tumse me tumhari marzi k bagair tumhe kbhi bhi force nahi krunga" said Adhi tightening his hug, "acha chalo ab neeche jaker dekhe to sahi kal ke kaand ka kya asar hua hai" said Adhi reminding her.. kavya nodded stressfully, "chill, abhi bahut kuch krna hai" said Adhi lifting her face to make her look at him "me hoon tumhare sath" said Adhi and she nodded positively again resting her head on his chest..

Malini's close friends and neighbours all were present for the intimate party, enjoying the mehendi ceremony with dance and food, Malini praised Adhi's name on kavya's mehendi and blessed her.. Giriraj pradhan entered with two gunmen.."Hum apni hone wali bahu ke lie kisi ko lekr aye hai" announce Giriraj with a cunning smile on his face, "Kise laye hai aap?" asked Malini suspiciously, Kavya was stunned when she saw shubh coming out from behind.. her eyes searched for Adhi who was not visible, she started geting the flashbacks but she was trying hard to stay strong in front of all, "Shubh beta, kavya tumhare bachpan ki saheli hai na, jao usse milkar ao.."sai Giriraj with a smirk, Shubh nodded and approached kavya.. "jaydeep sir ne request ki thi islie us din chup thi, lekin aj ek kadam bhi badaye to theek nahi hoga" said kavya.. " arey kaisi baatein kar rahi ho kavya dosto me choti moti batien chalti hi rehti hai" said Shubh taking steps towards her.. kavya stood at her place "maa is ladke ne mere sath zabardasti karne ki koshish ki thi, please Giriraj Pradhan ji se kahie apni galatfehmi door karke ise wapas lejane k lie" said Kavya fearlessly in front of everybody, that was unexpected for Giriraj, he only had discovered that kavya was scared after that incident but she was standing strong in front of him, Malini stood in between Shubh and Kavya, "Jaoge ya police ka intezaar karoge?" asked her firmly, shubh looked at Giriraj who had bailed him asking him to trouble and scare kavya, but seeing him standing helpless and quite shubh turned to leave "Aur haan Agli baar meri Bahu ki taraf ankh utha ker dekhne ki koshish bhi ki na to acha nahi hoga" warned Malini..
