-> Viaan, their only son won't be able to experience fatherhood from scratch again. It is a priviledge which Viaan will be missing which he shouldn't be missing. These are two main big reasons and they are good enough reasons.

Where she is going wrong is she is unable to understand from where Viaan's infinite trust on Katha comes from. She still sees Katha as she would see any other girl.

I partially agree Teji does not have enough reasons to trust Katha . But I think this is the mindset thing of their generation that widows should not get remarried, as they did in their lifetime . Because if you ask me and see that they acknowledge how good Katha was when they come to know that she alone managed to get her son treated in Kavita bday party and they only told Viaan and Ehsan . Farah was okay as she thought of her as a marriage and life partner maternal but not Teji . Later on Maya too echoed her thoughts . So I think it’s the mindset she would not accept Katha for Viaan because she is a widow . Had she been single , they would have launched on to her , not bringing status quo here as I don’t think that’s in question for Teji and Maya as well .

Katha being a widow is not Teji's problem. Teji wants someone without any "baggage" from a previous relationship. Someone who will make Viaan the centre of her universe. For Katha, Viaan will always be a second priority after Aarav.

2. As the previous poster said, Katha can't have Viaan's kids. What's strange is that none of these rich folks have even given a thought about IVF or surrogacy.

3. Teji is also a snob. She wants someone from her class. We all know parents in real life who are perfectly fine with their children being friends with someone from a lower caste/class. But the minute they talk about them as a life partner the approval vanishes.

4. Teji is also possessive. For a long time, it's been her and Viaan against the world. She'd find it hard to let go no matter who the prospective daughter-in-law is.

I mean the show never whitewashed Viaan's crime nor did Katha whitewashed his crime so, how is this fandom whitewashing his crime? It is not entire fandom but, some members of the fandom. Its just that someone else spoke negative about the show and the fandom, now, he became the target instead of the original person who made that tweet.

Doesn't it become like the toxic part of ITV? Where a wife is forgetting all the atrocities of her husband and supporting him because it is her suhaag, her pyaar and she can't let go of her mangalsutra.

It overall questions the morality and messaging of this show. People these days.

@bold It is tendency of human being that we set different rule for different people.

For family, it is different rule, for strangers it is different rule. For rich people it is different and for poor it is different.

Suppose a family member stole money, we might beat him at the most but if a maid stole money, we will arrest that maid.

In Katha's case we can see the same. Katha forgive PapaG before Viaan. PapaG didn't even apologize when Katha soften towards him. Viaan was strangers so took a bit of time. Katha is a type of person who truly believes in forgiving people if a person realizes his mistake.

I think the show has done great job of showing what went through Viaan's mind when he made that nasty proposition. He wanted Katha. He thought a ONS would be enough to kill the craving and would also prove that she's just a gold digger like the rest. Our subconscious mind always tries to give us what we secretly want eventhough our conscious mind forbids it or finds it morally wrong.

IMO the test was his subconscious mind trying to justify taking what he wanted.Instead the ONS left him guilty,dirty and the wanting didn't go away either. At no time the show tries to justify him.(Maya maasi is the only one who does that). What he did was absolutely wrong. He's a decent human being. But just this once he gave in to his worse impulses. Which makes him flawed and interesting. It's only teenagers and 20 somethings who see the world in black and white and the twitterati falls in that category.

But it would be hypocritical of the Garewals to condemn him when they didn't lift a little finger to aid Katha. But it would be just like mercurial Mr.Garewal to do such a thing. He takes away his love and approval the minute his children does something he doesn't approve of. He always judged Viaan as having "bad blood" because of his father.

He throws Jitu Bhai party from company account without informing Eshan. What else can we expect from Viaan who was constantly misusing his power and position.

Watching the episode, by looks of it, Ehsan doesn't manage finances of Company account because if he managed, he would have been questioned about it not Mr. Mehta. Also, Ehsan wouldn't rush to Mr.Mehta to get the company's financial statement. Also Teji on phone call clearly asked for both company's ledger and Viaan's ledger as well. So, in car with Mr. Mehta, Ehsan saw company's ledger or Viaan's ledger, we don't know.

Also, even if its company's account, as a CEO of the company, Viaan is not answerable to anyone why he withdrew the money. Same goes for Ehsan as he is 50% partner in the company.

Now, after watching the episode, Ehsan shot an arrow in the dark. The moment he started his research, he realized the whole truth. He remembered Katha's resignation, Viaan's guilt, Viaan telling him that he spent a night with a girl. Its just Maya Maasi acted like a trigger for his brain. When he called Viaan, Viaan's underconfident tone spoke everything.

The relationship of Viaan and Katha is somehow based upon the ONS incident. After the ONS, Viaan understood Katha's position and apologized to her. After rejecting Viaan's apology, with the help of Ehsan, Katha understood the background from which Viaan was coming from. Even Viaan, after Katha's rejection does not stop apologizing to her. Viaan apologizes to Katha through his actions.

Further, we also see that they both have come a long distance and now speak of that incident very comfortably.

So I think even the ONS revelation will not be able to break the relationship of Katha and Viaan. Yeah, there might be some high voltage drama in the wedding scenes but I think that Katha will side with Viaan.

Also, I am having another hunch that Ehsan, after seeing his friend being beaten up, will disclose the plot of Maya and Teji after the ONS revelation.

What do you guys think, Please let me know....

Can't say anything. I am still unclear about the motives of Teji and Maya and what they have deduced out of their investigation. I don't know if Teji would want her son to be defamed in front of entire company just to stop marriage.
