Who is Vanya to Viaan?

So far, I am liking the track of having new babies and the parenting role Kaviaan have taken. Today's the first time, where I have seen Viaan act on his impulse where Kathaa is not involved. So surely this new girl deserves all the attention. Surely a change in environment where Kathaa has been the focus. What's your take on this new relationship?

What do you think will be the shade for Vanya's character?

I think it’s a great change

I guess it's quite clear that Vanya is Viaan's half/step sister from his father's affair with the other woman. Not sure if he married that woman ultimately - maybe they will reveal it with time.

This girl is definitely here to shake up the story cuz otherwise nothing much is moving given the stalemate between Katha and Viaan and the office dynamics have also kind of settled in since a while. Vanya is here to challenge the atmosphere that has so far been dedicated to hailing Katha without question. Clearly Vanya approaches things in a very different manner than Katha and that's rubbed Katha the wrong way in the interview also....so this will be a new atmosphere for Katha to navigate.

As for the shades for Vanya's character....looks like she will be a bit of a grey character given the circumstances of her birth and her connection to Viaan's family. She seems like someone with a bit of a chip on her shoulder and the way she spoke of "legacy" during the IV shows that she feels a birthright over Viraj Raghuvanshi's legacy and is here to claim it in some way. She seems to oscillate between being ruthless/determined and then suddenly a bit bubbly/chirpy/child-like as well....this showed in the way she suddenly switched to saying she was hoping they will hire her on the spot and say "aap Mumbai aa sakti hain"....lol

Katha the all round problem solver of this story will now have a new challenge on her hands....especially if she learns about Vanya's connection to Viaan before he does - it's very likely she will and then she will likely try to protect him from the pain because she knows that is a deep trauma from his past. Ultimately I guess she will become a bridge between brother and sister and it will likely bring her and Viaan closer too.

Viaan is unlikely to have a positive reaction to learning who Vanya is....he is charmed by her right now but he will be angry when he learns that she is a living symbol of his father's abandonment of him....I guess then he will be back to the angry/tormented Viaan of the early days of the show....lol

im just thinking viaan katha love story is going take a back seat for abit

Viaan is still very much a true businessman....just because he is being candid about his emotions for Katha doesn't mean he's forgotten his job😆.

He is giving a lot of respect/regard to Katha but he is clearly shown in meetings with his other employees in the episodes too so I wonder why people keep saying he is not a "true businessman" now....lol is a "true businessman" only someone who is constantly rude and authoritative with people? 😆

Viaan is behaving as per his character of someone who has evolved in love - his core as a person is not lost....he has just softened with the new emotions he's feeling. There are other shades yet to open up as his emotional baggage is explored.

I don't mind the new girl....the brother-sister equation seems to have some potential to be explored right now. Remains to be seen where Katha will fit into that....right now it seems she will only just keep doing the usual judgemental/frustrated taunting to Viaan like she does everyday.

Agree with you all, as seen in the SBS segment Vanya is Viaan's step sister. IMO, Vanya's the catalyst between Kathaa and Teji for both warm up to each other. Today's episode is a bit of a filler but excited for the episodes when kathaa knows about Viaan-Aarav's Batman-Robin connection.

I loved Viaan's conversation with Reeth and honestly, Reeth is disgusting she has everything but lacks compassion and kindness neither for kathaa nor Aarav. Kathaa lost her husband early in life, and Aarav never experienced the support of his father. Still Reeth is the nagging lady always nit-picking. I hate such people and I can never imagine Reeth being happy.
