I used to really like him in the beginning. He seemed so cheerful, respectful, but also such a good friend to Viaan. I love their bromance, even now (before their relationship gets sour in the future episodes). But now I am thinking about how we need to be vary of guys like him. He seems very respectful, but with the expectation that she will start falling for him; he has many expectations from her, one of which is that she will be in a relationship with him. Moreover, he is confident that he will win her over, without consideration that she might be interested in someone else. I mean, he actually said "Use hata dunga" when Viaan mentioned that she might already have a partner. There's nothing wrong in wanting your love interest to like you back, but I feel that he disguises his pushy behaviour behind the explanation that he is "not a creep." His respect has limitations, and I am sure we will see that increasingly in the future episodes.

This is not to say that Viaan is perfect. He has of course been problematic, but the difference is that we all know that. We all have trolled him and condemned his behaviour endlessly. But Ehsan is someone though who we all loved, so it's interesting when we see the more contradicting sides of him. It depends on how negative the Indian makers will let him be, but if they are following the OG, he will be very negative unfortunately.

What do you guys think? I might be wrong in the way I'm interpreting Ehsan, so please feel free to share what you think.

the correct word for this behaviour is entitlement.

Ehsaan feels entitled to be in katha's life, to be her saviour, to know her secrets, to be a part of her world. He is no confident that he never stopped to think what katha wants or what are priorities are.

He gives a feeling of entitlement in his behaviour towards Katha. But what makes him feel entitled is the thing which we are not able to understand.

If Viaan feels entitled towards Katha, it can be understood in context of ONS that happened. Ehsan is just a boss and Katha is his employee. They don't share any other bond other than the one he is trying to establish forcefully

A person like Ehsan looks jovial and funny, but in real life he is a red flag. Stay away from such person

Rather I would say, Ehsan and Viaan both are red flags. Since Viaan is ML here, and he accepted his mistakes, apologising through words and actions and is ready to change himself, he can be accepted.

If Ehsan does not rectify his behaviour after getting to know Katha is not interested in him, he can not be accepted. So let us wait and see how they take the character arc further

No offense to Katha’s character

Eshan behaves the way he thinks he is entitled to Katha’s life because she let him be !

High time for her to show him his place and fraw clear boundaries

Yes as you say in real life this kind pf men can be very annoying and dangerous !

OFC, Katha is also a red flag. Her biggest flaw is that she wants to do everything herself. I am a small form of Katha in real life. I know it is wrong to be this way

She takes help from people, Falguni, Rewa, Dodo, doctor and so many people around. And I think they are showing as she is acknowledging their help every now and then and she feels guilty of making them do her works

Major thing what they want to emphasise is she arranged money and it saved Aarav. I take it as Aarav's cancer, urgent need of money and ONS these three are the base of this story. So they will emphasise on it. And no one could help Katha to arrange money, she arranged on her own. OFC team of doctors, hospital staff and everyone played a role. She should have more dialogues on those lines also

And that proposal scene even I didn't like 👎🏼 He was all mujhe pehle nazar me pyaar hua and I was like huh??? I have high hopes from Katha writers.. let's see..

Agree👍🏼

Here Viaan's character is much better than Onur. Makers have done a good job so far. OG mei ushne harassment word use hi nahi hua.👎🏼
