I have been browsing twitter and there has been few posts where people posting how they cannot now ship Katha and Viaan because of obvious reasons but make me also wonder how will Katha fall for Viaan who at this point is kinda of harassing her no matter what reasons be and of course the second offer.

Just wanted to now how they showed the same in OG?

I really hope makers do justice with that track as they have shown Katha as such a strong and sane character who’s world revolves around her son only.

I hv stopped watching OG,coz I am liking the Indian version Katha better. Whatever I know Viaan had a good solid redemption track in OG. Let's see how it goes here. Otherwise it would be difficult for most of us to cheer for the ML.

I know right redemption and then falling wala track is so risky I hope makers take their own sweet time with it.

Those who watched/watching Turkish version, does original have ML's rich father leaving his family behind for another woman (termed as gold digger), which causes ML trauma in his teenage years? ML has any step siblings?

Then there is a plane crash incident where everybody thinks Onur has died. Sheherzad goes crazy. Thankfully Onur had missed that flight. After all this, the wedding will happen. Then Onur's past girlfriend who is on deathbed comes with their daughter. Sheherzad accepts her. Then Kerem will again cause misunderstanding by telling all about ONS. Sheherzad will again believe KErem over Onur. Onur keeps saying he has not said anything. She does not believe him. They get divorced. In the end, Kerem confesses that Onur never said anything. Sheherzad realizes her mistake and goes back to Onu even though she had decided to marry another man. Onur then tells her that while his love was always unconditional, her love always came with conditions. She never believed him and trusted others. Sheherzad realizes her mistakes and goes back to marry the other man even though she does not want to. On the day of the wedding, Onur comes there with the kids. They all reunite.

Given their history, this story arc actually makes sense. I know most people here related all the drama to typical ITV drama and it is in a way, but Shehrazad's inherent mistrust in Onur actually stems from the incident of the initial offer and that night. Like someone else said in some discussion in this forum that even if they fall in love later, this mistrust and trust will be there and will create problems. And that's what happened.

Thanks for summarising the story. Now my curiosity is not at its peak and I can enjoy the Hindi version.

In OG, The ML fell in love/liked at first sight..thats what he said to FL. If anyone is sure of this who has seen Original series, please confirm. But that was turksih version

I hope makers show it differently here. ML does not have to go all the way. He can test her by making deal.

Exactly my thoughts! Because from what I understand (and I might be wrong) Vihaan was not enjoying going all the way, he was somewhere hesitant. It would have been good if he stopped. I have written something on this line as well, my imagination of what such a scene could have been like.

If he doesn’t “actually” do it, then what’s the story? The conflict? The whole story is pinned on his immorality and her desperation. In fact, his back and forth and his guilt is what makes him a hero, because his struggle after knowing her desperation makes his want to do the moral thing, yehi tou hai story. If he doesn’t go through with it, there is really no story.

It's still the same right, the offer is made, he makes the immortal offer and she accepts it due to her desparation. She comes to him that night, he is wishing she backs out. None of them are into it, so stopping midway could have been the case. Then the trauma of that night would be less for both of them. The impact would be less, but impact would be there. Atleast for me, it would make things more palatable to see their love story later on. But that's just my opinion. I have written a piece on how the alternate version could have gone, if anyone is interested to read.

So yeah you are right the company employees are quite impressed with Vian and think highly of him
