Hello peeps! There was some confusion due to which there was no update earlier on today. And since none of those who sent me a PM regarding today updated, I will do it ^:^
Previously on Kasturi – Kasturi introduces us to where she lives. We see her two best friends, Sia(?) and Mahika, who wanted to be like Indira Gandhi but ended up getting married. Of the temerarious trio, Kasturi is the simplest one and her dreams are simple too. She garners her strength from her father, who wants to see his daughter become successful, until the day that her father fixed her marriage. Kaushalya and Kasturi are astounded on seeing Kasturi's father fix her marriage.

Episode 2
Short Update:
- Kasturi finally gets a job.
Kaushalya's room
Kaushalya confronts Kasturi's father (It's Lalaji, right?) and says that the day she got married to him, she's believed that her husband dreamt big, walked with time, thought of his daughter as his part and not as a burden but her dream broke and so did her belief. The phone rings and goes into automatic voice-mail mode. The doctor on the phone leaves the message that Lalaji left his reports at the hospital and he hopes that Lalaji has told everyone at home about his sickness – a heart disease is fatal but angina (chest pains, that is) can be controlled. Lalaji is about to turn the phone off when Kaushalya stops him. The doctor continues that he understands that a lot of money must've been kept for Kasturi's marriage but heart disease is not something to be taken lightly. Lalaji backs away and sits back on the bed. Kaushalya, with the epiphany of Lalaji's actions, mutters that he wanted to get Kasturi married so she can live peacefully. Kasturi, like typical Balaji heroine is eavesdropping on her parents. Lalaji tells Kaushalya that he cannot bear to see his child out on the roads, he wanted Kasturi to fulfill her dreams but the biggest problem is time, which he doesn't have…He claims that he is not afraid of death, hearing which Kaushalya puts her hand on his mouth, but is more worried about what will happen to his daughters after he dies. He says that he wants to see them happy before he dies and continues that it's not Kasturi's heart that has been broken, but it's his heart that betrayed him. Kasturi stifles her cries. Kaushalya utters muffled cries and manages to say that nothing will happen to him. Yeh jeewan starts playing in the background, juxtaposed with several short clips of Kasturi and her father sharing some sweet moments together.
Kasturi's room
Kasturi is in her room, staring out her window. Must say, her curtains look really cute! She remembers the moments she and her best friends shared together, how Mahika made a sacrifice with her life. Flashbacks of her wedding are shown. Kasturi is crying. She thinks that if Mahika can sacrifice her dreams for her wedding, can't she make a little change in her plans for her father…
She goes into her sisters' room. They are overjoyed to see her. She asks them why the look so happy. One of the sisters (sorry, don't know her name), says they are really happy because she aced the examinations so they got her something. Kasturi asked what they got her. She opens the gift, it's a law book. The other sister says that because Kasturi wanted to study law, they got her that book. Kasturi thinks aloud that it must be really expensive and asks them where they got the money from. Now, Sister No.1 says that she saved 2 months' worth allowance and Sis No.2 says she bought 4 less lipsticks. Kasturi smiles. Sis. No. 2 tells Kasturi to get some good clothes.
Kaushalya's room
Kaushalya is still sulking in her bedroom. Her husband asks her to talk. He questions her why she married him: he's not as fair as her, nor as rich then why…Kaushalya tells him to stop and asks him to get treated. Lalaji says that nothing will happen because she will follow him…the only difference is she'll come up to heaven after 30-40 years because she eats "desi ghee"…
I wonder if this is what Baa of KSBKBT eats to keep herself alive for…well, 200 years…hehe
…He hugs her and tells her not to be afraid because he got the peepal tree planted so he can linger on the tree as a ghost and whenever she wishes, she can come meet him. Kasturi comes into the room without knocking and launches into what seems like a paragraph memorized from a book. She tells him that she's looked at the photograph and she likes the guy. Then, she gives him money to help in her marriage, with her intention being that he gets himself treated ASAP. Lalaji says that those days have yet to come. He gives it back to her and tells her to buy what she wishes. He asks her to go back to sleep. Kasturi leaves and Lalaji goes back to pacify Kaushalya. She tells him that she still hopes he gets himself treated. Lalaji retaliates it's more important to him that Kasturi goes to her own house. He asks her to promise him not to tell anyone about his disease or show it. He adds that the day he wakes up to see her moan will be the end of his life. They hug. Kasturi, who is still eavesdropping, cries a bit.
Outside Kasturi's building
New day! Kaushalya goes to the "tulsi" plant to pray. The newspaper man throws the newspaper and it lands right beside Kaushalya. Vishesh (Or Vitesh, your pick) comes to the newspaper man and asks him for the newspaper. NPM (Short for Newspaper Man) tells him that he wonders why Vishesh makes him (NPM) throw yesterday's paper there. Vishesh tells him that because he wants to read the new paper.
Kasturi's house
Parjaiji is circling something in the newspaper. Granny comes and asks her whether she's looking for her stars. Parjaiji says that her brightest star is Akshay Kumar, whose Namastey London recently released. Granny tells her that her husband will get to know about it… Parjaiji says that he will not know because he hasn't known for this long so there's low possibility that he will know it now.
This old guy (name, anyone?) is dying his hair. He asks his grandson about if there is an advertisement about hair dye. Grandson says there's no advertisement but an article about hair dye which states that it is awful for skin. He asks what his granddad's age is. Granddad is about to answer but he asks his grandson to go anyways.
Navneet & Tanu's room
Navneet(or something like that) is reading the newspaper as well. She teases Tanu about a lipstick offer: Give two lipsticks, take a banarasi paan – your lips will be red forever. Tanu doesn't find it funny and tells her that she has no sense of fashion – she's always wearing track pants. Navneet says that track pants are comfortable. Tanu says that doesn't she want someone to look at her? Navneet asks if she found someone. Tanu says that she's not found someone her type.
Kasturi's Aunt's house
Vishesh (or is it Vitesh?) is sitting in his room. His son comes to him and asks him for money to begin a business – to buy a dog – to have children so he can sell the children for $8000. The father says that such were the calculations done by his mom. He asks him to get lost. The son says that he will become like Dhirubhai Ambani. He goes out of the room just as the mommy comes in. The father asks what kind of thing she's given birth to. He continues that the donkey wants to begin the business of selling dogs. She shows him three sarees – one for herself, one for her to-be daughter-in-law, and one for Kasturi. She explains that if she gives Kasturi the saree, Kasturi will think that her Alka chachi takes care of her so when she goes into "that" house, Pooja will come into her house. Her husband is just as confused as me. She states that she persuaded JP to let Girish marry Kasturi and she'll ask Girish's sister's hand for Ajay so all the expense of the wedding will be on JP and they'll get Pooja's dowry.
Kasturi's Room
Kasturi is highlighting some advertisements in the newspaper when Kaushalya comes into her room to give her the offerings of the little prayer she had outside. Kaushalya asks her what she was doing. Kasturi tells her she was just collecting books. Kaushalya asks her where she's going. Kasturi lies to her and tells her that she's going to the library and she may have to go every day now… Kaushalya asks her how she got ready for the wedding in a jiffy…what about her studies. Kasturi says that after all, wedding is also a learning aspect. Kaushalya asks her to come early to see the groom. Kasturi outwits her and asks her if she saw her Bauji before marriage. Kaushalya says that she didn't because her mother saw him. Kasturi says her mother can see the groom and decide too. She takes her blessings and leaves.
Bus
Kasturi and her friend are on the local bus. The bus conductor teases Sia(?). She gets really annoyed. Kasturi tells her not to waste her time on such people. Sia asks why Kasturi seems depressed. Kasturi says that she tried for 15 vacancies but she hasn't got a job yet. Sia asks where the she's going. Kasturi says it's some company who is owed by Robbie Sabarwal. Sia asks if she knows who he is... Kasturi says that some singer. Sia starts praising Robbie Sabarwal.
Office
Kasturi is walking on the streets to her new office. She sees the crowd of people waiting to be interviewed. She thinks they are all weird. She goes up in the elevator and asks the receptionist about the interviews of the secretary. The receptionist informs her that those interviews were held yesterday and the person has already been chosen…She asks Kasturi if she can play a guitar. Kasturi tells her that it was in the morning newspaper. The receptionist tells her that the newspaper is yesterday's. She asks the receptionist if she can use the washroom.
Owner's Cabin
The owner asks his girlfriend why she doesn't like the secretary he appointed. She says it's because he doesn't want him to be allured to other women. The guy says that even he appointed her…She argues and says that she hardly worked…and it's OKAY that he is dishonest to his wife but to his girlfriend, he must be honest.
Kasturi is wiping the bear stuff from her suit when the water goes out of control and spills all over her. She ends up in the owner's room. He is snogging his girlfriend and tells Kasturi to get out. She apologizes and is about to leave when the girlfriend tells her to stop. She tells Kasturi that she is hired, much her boyfriend's displeasure, and the newly appointed secretary fired.
Episode ends.
Personal Feedback: I think the little little girl lost in a big big world quality plays to Shubhangi's (Palchin of KZK) advantage. 😊 Nice episode to be really honest.
