It's official and you're reading it first here! Karan Patel is the new Mr Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.

The verdict is out!! After a lot of speculations and media reports Ekta Kapoor has finally chosen her new Mr. Bajaj among Karan Patel, Gaurav Chopraa and Sharad Kelkar. And SpotboyE has it that it's none other than Karan Patel who was last seen playing Raman Bhalla on her superboy show Yeh Hain Mohabbatein. A source informs SpotboyE that the final decision was made only very gently that Karan Patel will step into Karan Singh Grover shoes to play Rishabh Bajaj.

That's not all, we have also learnt that Karan will start shooting for the show in the coming week. However, be prepared for some rejig - a reliable source tells us that his look will be drastically different from the one channeled by Karan Singh Grover, and his entry will bring about a big turning point in the story. Mr. Bajaj's character has been one of the most important in ones in Anurag (Parth Samthaan) and Prerna's (Erica Fernandes) life. Earlier also a lot of names came in the forefront when Ekta announced that she is looking for Mr Bajaj and it was Karan Singh Grover who finally bagged the role.

However, last year, Karan left the show as he felt there wasn't much left for his character. But in February, Karan Singh Grover was again set to make a comeback but then the lockdown was announced, putting the plans on hold.

After all this hold up, Karan did not wish to continue with the show. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see how Karan Patel fans react to the update. We're sure they would be over the moon.
