What is wrong in KZK 2.0?

Basically, everything is wrong in KZK 2.0 but here are some of the points:

1. In season 1, both Anurag and Prerna messed up seriously a lot of times and made mistakes for which they had to pay, but in this season, all Anu and Pre do are sacrifices. It would be more compelling and real for Anurag to not take a stand for Prerna due to his family's pressure rather than straightway pushing her down the building. In my view, the former would be more realistic betrayal because everyone knows that there must be a reason (cough*cough sacrifice) for this evil act and hence it's not as great a betrayal because Prerna wasn't harmed. The USP of last season was that both leads were flawed and not saints and they both did great wrongs to each other which was never justified whereas in this season, everything is justified in the name of sacrifice.

2. No time for buildup- In last season, when Prem was killed, it was brutal because the show gave viewers time to witness the baby grow into a three years old and audience felt an emotional connect. It was even more brutal because he was killed due to mistakes of Anu and Pre. But in this season, CVs are not giving characters any time to breathe. After one villain goes, another enters. If he goes, the first villain enters with a plastic surgery. We are not connected in any character's journey to root for them.

3. Pathetic ships- The main reason for KZK success was its jodi. But the lovestories this season are borderline creepy. With Navin Babu, I can understand, he was supposed to be creepy but since Komo entered, every ship was clingy, toxic, ridiculous, be it Anu's simultaneous marriages to Pre and Komo, Pre marrying Mr. Bajaj, then Anu-Pre-Sona triangle. I just want these people to get the hell out of each other's life and spare viewers. Even Wuthering Heights relationships were not as ridiculous (No, actually, I take it back. Heathcliff killing wife's favourite pet and making her life a hell just because her brother married his lover who agreed to the marriage herself is the nadir of toxicity and then digging up his lover's grave is madness at its worst. At least AnuPre are better than that).

What do you think will happen in the upcoming episodes? Because I can't think how will they clean up this mess.

It will be justified - because the creatives always drop the ball and this will be a monumental flop if Anurag is not doing it in the name of sacrifice.

Only problem is Prerna will again have to forgive him his sins and this is far too bitter a pill for my muse to swallow. I understand dark but out of character, deliberately vengeful dark... nahin! it does not make sense

But whatever happens it will be swept under the rug as a kasuatii - no matter how talented or limited the writers are, how much time the creatives invested in this - some tracks simply cannot be justified.

This has gone way beyond the core scope of the show, because deliberately separating a mother from her child or turning your back on your child's welfare is inexcusable.

Anurag's character has now been butchered to the point that if he died it would not trouble me. So I don't expect much of anything....

Nothing was ever right . But with the news of this leap, and kids coming in , it's the final nail in the coffin now. 😆 Oohhs aahs ouch ..jisko dekhna hai actors ko dekh le ..I dread to think how r these ppl gonna be with the kids..🤢 around the kids I mean . That's the issue. The CVs have reached a point of no return. The show's protagonist must not be butchered like this unless they are aiming for an anti-hero story. There is no way Anurag's character can be redeemed and yes, it is entirely out of character for him. Even if he had pushed Komo or Mr. Bajaj from the building, still it would have been entirely out of character for him. I don't know what CVs wanted to achieve- perhaps a shock value like Game of Thrones when Jaime pushed Bran down the ledge or when Ned was beheaded. Even then it was consistent with the characters. Right now, it's feeling as ridiculous as a hypothetical scenario of Ned stabbing Catelyn. And what is with the leap? Two-three years leap was understandable but showing children becoming grownup is not something people were looking forward to.

Maine to dekhna hi chhor diya tha. It seems KZK 2.0 is inheriting all bad things of previous season completely overlooking the good ones. They have adapted the ridiculous track of multiple marriages, leaps, unke bacchon ki lovestory whereas the soul of a good love story is completely lost. The love story of AnuPre was supposed to be heart-wrenching but the love story in the show makes me so irritated.

Bas only one thing wrong karde ekta ..before the next kasauti and leap, kill anurag in accident and bring him bk with plastic surgery and also a new actor ☺️ Phir uska swayamvar kare and let.him populate a small island..I care 2 hoots
