Now that's an interesting story!! But the writers of this show either don't belong to this age or have some warped sense that marriage is necessary for pregnancy. Such things can't be expected from them

There is this very famous cult movie, won't name it to avoid rule violations and waise bhi dialogue will disclose it..

The scene has 2 people trying to prove they both are Tejas, and a X mark with a burnt coal is supposedly the only way to identify who is real Teja 😆

"Teja main Hu, Mark idhar hai... Nahi tum nahi Teja main coz Mark yaha hai"

KZK mein we don't have Tejas but Prerna and Komolika both trying to be the wife of Anurag and the mark is infamous Sindoor. During PreLika tashan (if these women have any, Komolika had but weird zooming is making it look horrible) these two might say what 2 Tejas said in the movie..

Wife main hu, sindoor Idhar hai (camera zooming in weird angles).. tum nahi wife main hu Sindoor Idhar hai..

All of a sudden flying duppatta out of where comes to rescue.. however looking at the two fighting, it thinks....Ohh I can't do it any further, kitni baar I'd do the same thing.. I quit

And flies back to never come back..

Ye kahani itihas ke panno mein kahi chhupi reh gai.. us din ke baad sindoor aur duppatte ne alag alag reh kar apni zindagi guzari.. aur dono ki prem kahani alag alag rehkar bhi amar ho gai..

Aur ek sawal aaj bhi un wadio mein goonjta hai "who's Prerna's husband?", jisse aajtak koi suljha nahi paya..

Point is WHY do it?show them married already and then show memory loss or whatever ...in so many movies hero or heroine got married accidentally to some other person during memory loss..came back and confusions happened..so? Same track happened in ye rishta where the the wife was presumed dead and the hero married 2nd time..love hai ke nai hai...the 2nd wife has no legal rights unless the hero divorced his first wife...2nd wife is living under the same roof as the wife wearing sindoor and all.....WHY do we look for logic in kzk? No..all serials aren't as illogical ..this is reflected in the trps

Either, they believe in love and don't believe in marriage, and live in couples have kids without marriage too. That's fine.

Or, either they do believe in the holy institution and get married.

I think they want a middle path, on ITV, I haven't really seen live in relationships, I guess they feel people won't accept it here. So, they want to endorse something purer than marriage and shit, but they can't outrightly do that, so use Sindoor and Ma Durga to validate their relationship.
