Also, I'd like to add that RB had threatened Ronit's Dad using the latter's dark secrets and warned him to not help Ronit. The whole thing is confusing.
It is confusing indeed. Writers hardly make any effort to make connections, rather they have made the show more like that puzzle kind thing where you find the mistakes. And in case we notice something odd it our job only to make sense out of it.
