butterflies in my tummy .. usually it's for passionate romance , but for me the depth of this character ,.... the darkness, the looming obsession , the possessive nature, the magnum opus standard of layers and dimensions exposed today was far more than exciting for any of us who knows the Rishab Bajaj
so on to the episode ...

THIS got to be one THE BEST episode so far since Rishab Bajaj's entry, it's all of HIS .. he owned it through out ..
I utter the words, you think around it, I do the act, you get engaged in it , I lay the trap, you walk straight into it..,.. I let only those people come close to me whom I want to, you will know only as much as I want you to know about me.. I drop hints, you cannot dare to miss on those, I warn you subtly or sternly, you better not ignore them, I stand by each word I say .. be it a threat or a warning or a promise.. I see to it that you are a mere pawn in my chess board, I make sure to hit jackpot with the worst cards, I manipulate people be it emotionally or verbally,... you mistake me to be saint, but I am far from it., I want to be ruthless and I am ... Rishab Ruthless Bajaj .,
Post the wife, kid, love zone phase he resolves with a determination to infinity, with unparalleled passion, unanimous point of possession, bordering obsession that ....
This is my family, I am not gonna lose it any cost No matter what . I am not going to back down
he was always aware of Anurag's obsession for Prerna, but probably for the first time Prerna worded that she will live with the memories of her love .. .. he realized she is not going against him for she wanted him to be better person and not punished..... but she didn't give that chance to him she wanted to see him punished and suffered ... he cannot say anything to her and like a saw machine u need to cut the wood from the other end .... and who better than his favorite pet project Anurag Basu đ
The moment he resolves and decides that he is not gonna lose "his family" at any cost .. his obsession and possession for "family " can be attributed to a brutally harassing father, who beat up the 6 year old kid that his skin and muscles became numb by 9 years.... while his mother apparently left him when he was 12 ... with no family and a distressed childhood , more so he might have seen a broken family when his first wife who left him and kukki, might have duly aided for the possession to the level of obsession for the "family", where he emotionally manipulates his wife to see the wrong in her lover, more than projecting himself right , he wanted her to see the wrong in Anurag and leave him, but as usual despite seeing his wrong, she didn't go against him , in fact she wanted Anurag to learn from his mistake ... and this is precisely not the result he expected out of this ... this is not his desired result , he can stop anurag from coming close to Prerna , but can he stop Prerna from going back to Anurag ?? NO ... when he plays his own game, by his own rules expected his own desired results,... he didn;t get one here... the actual result here doesn't match his expected result ..
so lay the trap, #MissionAnuragBasu ... his pet project .. mind games, mind games and more mind games.. specially the man who uses limited words is on a spree of words, emotions, mockery, , seething anger, name calling, targeting personally, provoking ... taunts,.. (god, this sounds like another DT note đ¤Ł)
he let's out only as much info as he wants to and today he shared some ground shattering confessions which could rise to 7 plus points on a Richter scale , made some revelations as deep as a crater to his blue eyed pet project #AnuragBasu .. all these revelations , if we think are out of provocations, we are gravely mistaken, he calmed his nerves with a cigar, he takes time, swishes a large of raw scotch before gulping it down , ,,, he incited , he provoked, he called names to Anurag as "BAD Basu, filthy housefly, Die Basu" with seething range all that darkness in the character is intact, it's even more lethal, ruthless, monstrous, manipulative, selfish, complex , compound than one could imagine... it shreds all layers of the apparent white paint on him over all these days...
Anurag challenges to throw him out of their lives the day he gets one proof... Bajaj says... anger on one's thinking power is like a fog on the mirror, one cannot have clarity in vision or thought , when in rage, the man just gulped down a large raw scotch and explains the rules of the game to his opponent, isn't that too shrewd and a great knack,.. he goes on to explain how thrilled and delightful he was to see Anurag in ICU ... the man's psych is on another level to the extent of terrifying one and all and he chose to scare the hell out of his favorite Anurag Basu .
He goes on to confess a lot more, he says "they say choose your thoughts and words wisely as that will be your reality.." this takes us back to that farm house .. where Bajaj tells Anurag that now it's time to close his chapter as well ... but Basu says his chapter cannot be closed from Prerna's life ever
today all this confrontation, confessions, challenges, revelations are connected to the Swiss episode in front of the farm house,.. it all started that day ... that day he says to Ronit , he drops hints , it's up to the person to pick the hint or not.. he dropped hints for Anurag the same day and has been doing that every now and then...

Bajaj : you know Mr.Basu, mere life jo koi bhi achche bure chapters open rakhna chaahtha hain, unhe main apne tareeke se deal karta hoon and trust me, you won't like it , which is why chose your next words wisely so that you won't have to repent later..
Bajaj : Abhi toh sirf shurwaat hai Mr.Basu...
He confesses that the only way to remove you from my wife's heart is by getting rid of you, so started with Mission Bye Bye Basu ,..he is ruthless with capital R, but he missed it and slaps himself ... that was psych level , I can see Anurag petrified and terrified, I would have been if I was in his place lol
the hunter and prey reference was on another level, hinting who is gonna strike the aakhri waar .. he tells Anurag how at each step, he came behind him and spied and challenged him but all he did was warn warn warn him each and every single time and played Mission patience patience patience .. he even says when he took over his house he played patience but then the way he was staring at his wife on Ganapati puja day was beyond his tolerance after all he was staring at "Rishab Bajaj's wife"
if it's property business, he can let go of for once, but the one trying to reach his wife ... he cannot take.. possessiveness is usp of this character . he reiterates, he lets only those whom I want near me can come near me ... again takes to Anurag's first and 2nd entry in BM where he allowed or let him enter his mansion breaching all security .
He shares about his dad who abused a 6 year old Rishab, whose skin and body went numb by 9 years and abusive , then mother leaves him at 12 whom he has all the love respect and regards and then a bitter past with Basu's thrown into the mix ... each time they reveal about his past, it comes out more darker than before... more complex than ever... point of relief for us all is Bajaj is no Basu and I am one of those few who always believed Bajaj is no Basu
He baffles Anurag confessing how he bribed the police ..he beats Anurag in his own game ...
this is beyond a game, Anurag stood no chance, he made a plan, he discussed it so loud that he got himself trapped..which Prerna has seen, the prey tried to tease the hunter... but the hunter was laying a trap for the prey to fall and then to attack and rightly so he did it with surgical precision and meticulous planning ... using the prey's own game to hunt it down...
today was all a trap ,... a deep deep deep mind game, played ruthlessly, menacingly , monstrously , his own game , he own rules, his desired results .. for his opponent to fall , to get distracted to lose focus, to side track him and to miss out on the mission ... this new information which he confessed to Anurag, if used by Anurag, he will fail badly ... Anurag plotted something, more like tried to trap Bajaj and implicate him, that too he couldn't be successful for he thought he is a hunter and thought of hunting down Rishab Bajaj, but then THE Rishab Bajaj flipped it so brutally that he showed who is hunter and who is the prey ,..
Now all the moves of Anurag will be around these confessions of Bajaj , while Bajaj will move on to another game to weave another trap for his favorite pet project Mr.Anurag Basu.
we will see many theories following this... but this meticulously laid trap is some turning point .
Karan Singh Grover, I seriously fall short of adjectives to praise him, his performance is towering , overshadowing one and all, it stands out right there at the apex, such flawless, impeccable act with right nuances , expressions, body language, voice tone, the smirks, the laughs, the mockery in tone .. it's sheer sheer sheer brilliance ... đ
