AnuPre and the Mr. Bajaj

Hello everyone, just a thought sharing post:

Okay, so I don’t want myself to be biased as the AnuPre fan here for sometime. From a neutral audience point of view, let’s talk and discuss:

Prerna:

She immensely loves Anurag and that’s the reason she mortgaged (I would say) her whole life in front of a person whom she knew was hell bent upon destroying the family she longed to belong to, the man who was her everything from friend to companion to a soulmate. She made a deal with Mr. Bajaj so that he does not harm the family which she thinks is more important than her’s own. Her kakababu who had been like a father to her from birth, who had time and again helped her family in every possible way and above all who loved her and her family like his own. What’s wrong in sacrificing for this person (Mr. Moloy Vasu)? And then there is the love of her life, her lifeline rather. Anurag Basu. Will she be able to see him behind the bars for whole life? She would die instead. He who supported in her every step, he who fought for her with everyone, he who stood besides her when she needed him the most without her even telling, he who took care of her family post her father’s death like his own and he who is the father of her child. What was wrong? She burnt herself to lit the Basu’s lights. She time and again proved she is selfless and her heart is as big as this universe. She could have easily denied Bajaj’s deal to get married to Anurag and be his forever(as that is her sole wish) but she stamped her own dreams just like the thorn bird. Is this not an enough reason to prove that she loves Anurag the most? Her love towards him is loyal?

Her feelings towards Mr. Bajaj

She initially thought that Mr. Bajaj was ruthless. He never understood emotions and that anything in this world was just a business deal which could be bought by power. But she sees the real Rishab not Mr. Bajaj infront of his daughter. She starts to respect him seeing the loving dad side of his and also, the fact that he did not harm the Basus for her sake just as he had promised. It was her duty to stay loyal and faithful to him not as a deal but as a real wife and that’s the Prerna we know inherent with values and traditions. And it’s quite natural that when you start living with someone and get to know them you tend to develop a liking towards them. Maybe initially it would be bound by duties and out of a habit doing things for them, taking care of but slowly it develops into affection when you start getting to know the person.

As a neutral audience, I would like to definitely see Prerna discover the Rishab inside Mr. Bajaj and eventually develop an affection and attachment towards him (I would not like to call it Love because I know she would still be loving Anurag as her soul companion somewhere deep inside her heart and that’s how connected they are).

Anurag Basu:

He had the best woman in his life who was being snatched way when she was almost going to be his forever. We get to see the completely crazy in love Anurag who could go to any lengths to get his lady love. We see the Anurag who was once running behind time, who was very focused at his work, who was soft and kind-hearted turning into a crazy lover, not worried about time, people, family. He does not wanna believe that Prerna is never gonna be his. The person who runs behind time is stuck back and is reluctant to move ahead. He gets back from death bed with her voice calling out his name. That’s how connected they are and that’s how much she affects him. He is faithful and loyal to his love. Now there is no way that we can see a united Prerna and Anurag (uniting them would be demeaning the characters again and again). This man deserves a faithful and a loyal better half who loves him more than anything else and would help him move on in his life, fill his life with happiness. The woman who marries him will be luckiest as you would never get a husband as kind as him, as good as him, as loving as him. Anurag Basu, the ideal man every girl would dream.

I like how Shivani and Anurag’s friendhsip is blossoming. I hope this friendship develops and takes a step forward toward love as I believe Shivani could be right person to take care of Anurag knowing his past and also coming from Sharma family, one can expect her to be selfless and kind enough.

Would like to know all your views.

I would rather love Anu to get paired up wid Komo than Shivi.

It feels like Ekta had no budget to find a lead for Anu , so whoever was left out......she is being thrown into pairing wid Anurag. And how can you want to marry someone your own sister loves ??? Isn't that conflicting ?? How can you marry someone who is deeply in love wid your sister ?? Seriously if Anurag falls for Shivi......I for one would hate it absolutely !!!!

I would hv loved if Anurag would hv moved out of India for a few years. Mr and Mrs Bajaj can flourish der love.....I really don't care. And as per guidelines Anu and Pre will be 'star crossed ' lovers who stay far apart. As for Anu he can have a sane mind far from this choas and maybe find someone worth moving ahead in life wid .

i can accept your analysis with respect to Anurag and Bajaj but cannot accept Prerna. She is a spineless woman. When she can put on so much act to expose komolika why the hell she accepted Bajaj's deal. She could have shown the same amt of intelligence and could have teamed up with anupam and her sister shivani and she could have even discussed the same with Anurag. Anurag always wanted Prerna to be his and this thorn bird love i don't understand in 2019 when things could have got handled smartly.

i can never accept a third person interfering in the soulmate type of love.

on the top of it Prerna is totally flawed she has the audacity to hide her pregnancy and she is going and revealing the same to the person who has wronged Anurag. i don't find Prerna worthy of praise.

I do understand that it is not easy to see Anurag falling for someone else especially for Shivani. I never meant Anurag should fall in love with Shivani but Shivani can. And if they were married, Anurag would obviously move ahead and focus on his life. .Though we can’t get the old Anurag back, but would you not want to see him settle down for good? And who else than Shivani can handle him better and who else will he even look at? Komolika is definitely not an option as one can never forget her misdeeds with Basu family especially with him. She did not love him she wanted to possess him. She loves only herself. My strong belief is that Shivani can handle Basus better and give Anurag a new direction in and meaning to his life. He has always been attached to her and would definitely change himself for her. Shivani, if the character is taken in the right spirit can prove to be a great support system for Anurag.

For me Shivani is total No. And I don't get why does moving ahead in life has to mean to be wid someone else. Anu is young. He should move away and start his life fresh. Do higher study or expand his business. He doesn't need another girl in his life now. He needs to be away and have a clear mind first. If it's meant to be......he would find someone again......and den he can move ahead in his life dt way.

I don't even think Shivani loves Anu. She is in love wid the concept of a true lover like Anu .

PS : Komo part was sarcasm. I don't want Any to marry Komo. But yeah some different actor would be a better choice than Prerna's sister marrying her lover. Just my opinion. You can differ wid me.

Soulmate need not definitely be husband-wife. It’s that connection they have and feel for each other, where one cannot live without the other. Prerna did not like you said look for other viable options to free Anurag but don’t you feel she was helpless? she did fight all by herself but then her love for Anurag, her promise to kaki maa creates that fear inside her which made her succumb to the deal. What could have she done before the powerful Mr. Bajaj? Love is all about sacrifices and loves knows only giving not taking. She gave all hers to just see her Anurag fine.

As for the pregnancy part, I completely agree with you that she was in wrong in hiding it from everyone especially Anurag.

Did Anurag develop any connection with Komolika . Did Prerna not try her cheap antics to separate Komolika and Anurag. Anurag enjoyed his boldness but here she is completely behaving in a different way. i cannot at any point accept Prerna. Day by day i am hating that character. i am watching this serial only for Parth and KSG i can't stand Prerna

True that moving ahead could be anything and could be anyone else too completely new. Shivi-Anu is my thought of how it can work. Anyways I was just trying to keep the negativity surrounding the current track as also I feel the season2 is showing the characters depth with some sense involved in story telling.

Hhhhaaaaa.... I hated Prerna in the first season ;). But this time it looks better much better.
