Not only is she unrelatable but not a favorite heroine for trp audience. If you are going to put a girl with bajaj at least put someone who is worthy and respectable
I don't think how they will redeem P either, this is my rant I wrote last night!
Ok so this is my review on the week gone by!
Anyway I don't know where to start, I think I was surprised that P doubted Bajaj, but initially I took it sportingly, because I was like, come on, it is just a TV show, and of course Prerna doubting Bajaj is no biggie, she has done that before!
So Prerna doubting Bajaj is NOT the issue here!
The issues are:
1. Character integrity/chemistry ruined:
The last few times when Prerna doubted Bajaj, she was obviously wrong in it, but even then she spoke pretty respectfully, and talked to her husband like a wife does! She said things while using a wifey touch "mujhe aap se yeh umeed nahin thi" "maine aap se puccha nahin ke aap kab aa rahe hai' It portrayed their relationship as very organic, like any normal husband and wife, and I am a sucker for organic romances!
NOW SUDDENLY Prerna is acting like she hates BAJAJ's GUTS! This looks like such a big JOKE, because it does not go with her basic characterisation of P or the basics of the foundation of their relationship!
2. P's characterisation goes against basic human nature:
I could have totally understood that P lost her shit at Bajaj when Anurag was on death bed, she could have been super angry, and that would be basic human nature! BUT what is not human nature is that first you trust Bajaj, and then suddenly lose your shit when your ex lover says that he tried to kill him! Like I mean come on? your ex lover is alive and kicking, you have already believed your husband before he was about to die like why the drama now? makes zero sense! it is almost like torturing someone out of spite! Is that what a lead main actress of the show is supposed to be like? I think not!
I could be ok with her sending him to jail too, but in the PRECAP she comes to see him to only torture him further and taunt him about showing-off, like does this lady do not have a heart? like what is her issue? her boyfriend is alive and kicking, the person who did the deed is behind bars, what more does she want? why is she going an extra mile to torture a man? like that is again a behaviour of a vamp, not a normal human being! Because that is just purely vile! And I am supposed to buy this woman as nice? I am sorry but how?
3. E's Acting:
Almost everyone on this AT know that I am not fond of E's acting! Because whenever she speaks, she seems like a robot who has rehearsed her dialogues, it is very obvious that she feels no emotions while delivering her lines! She is a very one-note actress and cannot express more than one emotion in a scene! And sometimes she cannot even do that!
I am sorry but her acting in all of the scenes when A gets injured was terrible, the fall on the road, her crying, everything was absolutely laugh worthy, it looked way too fake! She cannot cry, shout or show any kind of real emotion when she is supposed to act sad! Hence I felt absolutely zero emotions from her side when she was sad about Anurag!
Hence, the trauma is real when she is acted all mean with Bajaj. Prerna from head to toe just looked vile! Nothing else, she could not portray any other emotion!
Erica only hammed and shouted throughout and it left a very sour taste in my mouth! I am sure Prerna at this time is supposed to feel a range of emotions, but E could not portray any of them, all she did was shout and look like a really very vile person! Nothing else!
I hope she knows she is playing a normal person and not some vamp! It was pure torture to see someone act so inhumane. From what I see her character is supposed to be upset and angry, because she has almost lost the love of her life. But Prerna does not look upset because of it, instead she just looks like a person who wants to torture someone just for pure pleasure! That is what bad acting does, it makes a badly written character look even more ridiculous!
Anyway needless to say that PRERISH have been ruined for me, especially after what I saw in the PRECAP! The writing and acting both have disappointed big time!
