Missing Mr Gupta this season

*This is not a comparison post but an honest feeling about a character in need. So, save your breath.*

I remember a movie (though not the title) where the lead had stated one beautiful line. It was something like, a friendship is a very diffrent realtionship as we choose the friend by ourselves unlike the other relations we are born with.

I can't remember anything else from the film but i do remember this line even now. Bcoz, it had actually hit my heart deep. You may be a bad person or a good.. You may have a good person as a friend or bad but your friend will be something worth spending your time with. He or she may be selfish, completely apposite to you or may be a friend of happy days. But, what i feel is, we dont need a friend to help us mostly.. We need them just to hear us out. And hence, i find this friendship relationship most selfish desire of a person and at the same time the most acceptable selfishness of oneself's.

I really liked how Gupta and Bajaj used to call each othet with there second name (Like House and wattson ^_^). He was a way to express the unexpressed Bajaj in a very unique way. Like the way today when Bajaj had to call Mehra in middle of night he could have the conversation with his friend in a more beatiful way. We all need a friend to share our views... We all need a fridnd who will see us beyond ourselves, beyond what usual people see in us and hence i felt the need of a friend in Bajaj's life.

Similarly, THERE used to be a common good friend of Prerna and Anurag.. Veenet Khanna.. Not as prominent as a friend but at least he used to be there in some tough moments.

ITV should promote friendship too.. Beoynd the family peoole also have a few other relations- beautiful, heart warming and communicating. Its friendship.
