Superhit Karan Singh Grover (KSG) thriller web series Boss Baap of Special Services might return with a Season 2.

Boss has supposedly broken records at ALTBalaji, which is doing quite well over all as well. Even Gandi Baat 2 has a phenomenal fan following.

According to sources, happy Ekta Kapoor is in talks with producer Ankoosh Bhatt for making a sequel to Boss, which is common with web series. A successful one obviously gets more budget and focus.

Our source states, “Nothing has been finalized so far, but we are surely moving ahead. Season 1 had ended with Karan’s con man character Sudhir Kohli getting away from cop Sakshi (Sagarika Ghatge) and the latter promising to catch up with him. So there are enough leads to take the story forward.”

“It will take a bit as we want to write one more engaging series. The bar is always set higher in sequels,” quips our khabru, over chai and biscuits.

Producer Ankoosh refused to comment, saying, “It is too early to say anything right now. I am just happy to have made a product that has been so well received. I thank Balaji, Karan and the entire cast for having cooperated with me.”

2019 has been a good year for Karan. After Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, the success of Boss means that KSG is back in the reckoning after a lull. Karan’s number was out of reach.

A busy Sagarika promised to get back to us soon.

Last but not the least, our attempts to reach Producer Ekta Kapoor also came to nought.
