It is surprising because it DOES NOT sit with his basic, initial character sketch. He comes off as cocky, immature, and a big idiot to be honest. If he really wanted to secure the house he should've given Anurag a soft ultimatum because AT THIS POINT he should be able to read Anurag! Why would he go to all this hassle if he then lets Bajaj live in that house with his daughter? What's the point? Pehli fursat mein Kuki and family ko ek proper residence mein shift kare, then come back and barter for his house and get it back. THAT IS WHO HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE.

True he should have had this house under his daughter's name not his business. But one loop hole they needed to keep and that was the house.

A smart man like him plating chess would always know what the hell is happening around him. Bajaj was surprised & shocked when Anu barged in yesterday as if he had no idea of all this happening. How is that even possible for a character like him?

He wants the house, he can get it by all means, by hook & by crook. As for Prerna, she has promised her loyalty, when is that card going to be used by Bajaj, if not now. For a man who can read & anticipate enemy's move, he should know Anu won't stop, so what is with trying the good way. He knows it doesn't work & going for kill is the only way left.

When will the loyalty card be thrown right at Prerna's face. Why are they trying to make Bajaj not grey but white? He is grey, he is expected to do all unapologetically shady things in the first place for his benefit & still stand justified.

Keeping that aside.

Yes he has a very bad past moreover I don't know why people are expecting him to behave any less? They knew he was doing all this for his daughter and he still is and will do so. The Businessman in him will trigger the moment the helpless father is turned down. He himself has been through the same. True like Amigos pointed out he should have had kept the house under his daughter's name not in his company. But there might be a reason which he will explain later on.

I feel that the track has been changed in order to bring all of them together otherwise all this doesn't make sense. I mean the person who says that you're standing here bcoz I wanted to meet you...such unawareness isn t expected. Suddenly white paint has been bought in abundance by the queen for him.
