Disappointing performance - Page 2

Erica is a very good actress but this Prerna is like a sore. Parth and KSG are doing excellent, being true to their characters but Prerna? What is she doing, why, how, what...kuch samaj nahi aa raha.

Parth and Erica get good screen time and I expected to feel pain of Prerna and Anurag through their emotions, I just don't feel anything for them, Prerna was irritating in hospital, what was that voice modulation? I am sitting here trying to feel WHY is everyone saying that Anurag will die if he doesn't get Prerna, I do not feel that pain or even a bit of emotion. Anurag and Prerna's dialogues about mehendi, kala teeka, we can feel each other etc. make it seem that what they have is teenage infatuation at best, I am trying to find that love everyone keeps talking about. One reason can be that I come here and read over the moon praises for acting performance, watch episode on TV with skyrocketed expectations only to be disappointed by it. I am a sucker for good emotional distress and heart wrenching acting performance, there's nothing in it.

Prerna's sister and mother are my karma for watching this show instead of working on my project, especially Prerna's mother is too impulsive and dramatic for my taste.

Maybe it is because I connect to Mr. Bajaj that I felt anger when Prerna ran away from her grihpravesh, KSG is doing pretty well with Bajaj, he has commanding screen presence, I am not happy with the way they are handling Mr. Bajaj.

What they are showing now is a repeat of what they showed during Anurag and Komolika’s marriage. IMO, Parth and Erica potrayed Anurag and Prerna’s pain convincingly then . This time the writing has been terrible and yes their performances too have not been upto mark. Being an AnuPre fan myself, I could not feel their pain and just wanted it to get over. Prerna’s dialogues in the hospital scene were really bad. Parth and Erica do have their shortcomings as actors. Parth cannot cry without looking funny and Erica has issues with her dialogue delivery but they are good actors for ITV standards, especially Parth(again my opinion) . I do think that it is the lack of conviction in the script and the rush to complete the shoots (as Swiss track was squeezed in between) that is affecting their performances. They are basically doing the same thing they did 4 months ago...nothing new or exciting in terms of work.

I think writing needs to be blamed here.

I mean Manik's heartbreak striked hard. Sonakshi's heartbreak striled hard. So, given the story properly, they can do justice to those breakup scenes. But here, writing is really bad & thus connections seems off.

Bajaj seems nice because has a different kind of character right now.

Without good writing you can't expect good performance from the leads. And the writing is bad. Only bajaj is interesting and I hope they don't ruin his character. But the writing has to be better for both actors.

Ksg has also done many rotlu scenes, no one questioned his acting in them!

He was pretty horrible in the dream scene ..erica was beyond horrible in the hospital scene bec as such her dialogue delivery is bad and while crying it was impossible to understand what she is saying ..still the dialogues there moved me a bit . Then with the doc , where she is proudly telling that anu will know i was here , it was hilarious. Emotions and attachment need not spelled out like that ..audience should feel it ..crying scenes erica was also horrible . The whole situation does make u feel bad about them but thats all i can take..pyar is imp but but marr jaonga n all need not be said . Itna pyar kitna pyar kitni baar how many times will he say ? Just do something both of u whixh proves ur love . Mr bajaj is good mostly but he isnt there for more than 5 mins. Give him more screenspace

Writing is a big problem, one can give best performance of his life and won't be good enough if he is delivering dialogues like Anurag did in hospital. A man who is the best in his business showing color of his mehendi to prove that a woman loved him is bizarre and immature. Anurag will die without Prerna but this guy doesn't trust her, she told him that he should not misunderstand her and circumstances are glaringly obvious.

I read a post about Parth's acting in yesterday's episode and I watched it waiting for a mind blowing performance but to be honest he was just sitting there, no expression on his face. Both were comical in hospital scene.

Mr Bajaj is getting good dialogues and KSG is doing well, as I said but his characterization is not complete, they are trying to assess our reaction to him and then they will progress with him. For me it will be too late because I can't tolerate this rona dhona

I think ksg’s track is decided and he knows of it, I know we are all losing patience, but I am sure there will be much more to the character, don’t worry! If you want to see good acting of a couple getting separated watch old KZK, both the actors were comfortable crying, shouting and emoting! Both were amazingly natural! Parth on the other hand has too many restrictions, hence he was first shown in the bed and then showed as a rock, because that is the easy way for him!
