Did anurag ever really love prerna?

If you think about the dates - it's been four - five days max since anurag got engaged to mishka. In full consciousness inspite if being told repeatedly that he may have feelings for prerna.

The anurag who did had was the anurag of old, the one who knew who he was what his position was in society and his role towards his family. The guy who didn't believe in love.

Yes he took great effort to help prerna when she got into the Naveen mess but as he said then he doesn't make friends often and when he does he does his duty towards them.

Five days after getting engaged to mishka and then breaking it (only to mishka) to express his feelings for Prerna, he now has broken his relationship with Prerna. Why? Surprise surprise because of his obligations towards his father, Rajesh and prerna.

His first instinct is to give up on the love he has only felt for a few days and focus on fulfilling his obligations. This is not a man who really believes romantic in love or even feels it to great depth. He sense of responsibility and obligation is too strong for that.

Its been more than 29 days since Rajesh Moloy accident actually..

But I guess my question is still valid. I'm not even sure about this theory myself but it just occurred to me.

It's been more than a month actually since the mishka-anu rishta broke.

Anyways, I have no doubt that anu did and does truly love prerna. However, what he did today was just plain nonsensical and unnecessary.

Ideally, anurag should have gone to prerna, broken up with her by admitting the truth behind his decision and requested her not to stop him, asking her that if she truly loves him, let him do this for both their families, whilst promising her that from now on both their families problems are his to handle as he had promised his father.

Then he should have told her to move on in her life, wishing her that she finds love with someone who can actually stick by her side and offer his lifetime's support to her. This honesty and request to prerna would have been far more admirable and logical, however, the cv's are in no mood to use logic, as for them only the extremes work to create ample drama and waterworks from the female lead, hence why they opted for the illogical route of anurag humiliating prerna and making her believe he never loved her.🤢

@ Bold and Ekta don't go together...we should know by now 😆 ...why in the world did we expect that this show was going to be any better. If Ekta is pressurized more, I am sure she would say if you want logical realistic shows you can watch web series...but on SP prime time...don't expect anything better 🤢

Anurag loves Prerna and that's not the question I think you want the answer to .
It's more on the line of does Anurag believe in his love because what he is doing simply shows he doesn't trust Prerna enough to share her problems with him .
