RISH was looking sinfully gorgeous in black and running na? I think that episode aired on the 1st of December 2006 in India. But, he was not wearing black shades in that running scene, just black clothes 😕.

Disco theme for Sony's New Year show

MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television is all set to bring in the New Year with its show Dard-E-Disco that celebrates Bollywood disco and felicitates the original disco kings/queens – Usha Utthup, Bappida, Zeenat Amaan. These stars, the special guests for the evening, will also shake a leg, revisiting their disco memories.

Dard-E-Disco puts together the best of Bollywood disco ever; from Disco 82 to new age disco to very popular remixes all on one platform. Bollywood stars and television celebrities will also present dance acts which includes Ronit Roy, Yash Tonk Karishma Tanna, Karan Mehra, Roshni Chopra, Barkha Bisht, Naman Shaw, Gaurav Chopra, Udita Goswami, Sayali Bhagat and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa winner Prachi Desai.

Ronit Roy

Will he sign for any other production house other than Balaji?

Yes, and he will be happy too.

Will he participate in any reality shows and will he host any shows?

Yes, he will participate in a reality show, and will anchor too; will manage it successfully.

Now that you've done your bit as Mihir Virani in Kyunki, any plans of moving out of the serial?

There is no reason for me to move out. I have a commitment with them and I will stick with them till the serial continues or till they want me to be in it.

How was your experience at Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa?

I have learnt a lot of life's philosophies there. Considering it was a reality show with so many other television stars, there was a lot of negativity and participating in it has made me emotionally and mentally stronger. Firstly, I have come out of stage-fright and have learnt to be calm in stressful times. I even got some technical knowledge on production. I could really spend a lot of time with my brother; we used to have lunch together. He did a very good job as a host.

You ever thought of being eliminated that early.

Who said that I was eliminated early? I stayed till round seven and six people had already gone before me. More than winning, participation was more important for me as my core competency is acting.

Your last Bollywood film was Jaan Tere Naam in 1992, are there other films coming your way?

There are talks but they're all in a very premature stage.

What are your forthcoming projects?

There are offers for hosting reality shows, acting in some more serials next year. But it's still too early to talk about them.
