I am not discussing on whether creatives should change story or not. That also is a good topic but that is a different topic. I am talking of character Prerna and character Anurag.
To give an analogy, we say that Voldemort (in Harry Potter) is evil. One can argue that he has been made evil so that people read Harry Potter books and buy Harry Potter moves. I agree. But still we say that Voldemort is evil. Likewise, I agree that creatives may have some valid reason(concern for TRPs or others) for showing Prerna and Anurag the way they are showing. But still, we can say that Prerna has always used Anurag.
Imp: I find Prerna far better than Voldemort. It was just an analogy to explain that we may call a character in a story as evil even if that character is essential for the story.

I may have missed some episode. As far I am aware, Anu did not have to say this to Mohini. Mohini herself understood that Anurag was sad because he could not marry Prerna. You may argue why his being sad shows his selfishness. But it is not so because there is a big difference between desiring something and doing something with the sole purpose of fulfilling that desire. Again, let me give you an analogy.

Suppose you are the head of a very big organization. I am looking for job desperately. I make friendship with you. I do whatever I can do for you. Am I helping you for some selfishness? The answer depends on why I am being good to you.. If I am being good to you just because I wish your happiness, then there is no selfishness. But if I am being good to you so that you give me some good position in your organization, then it is selfishness.

Suppose I become your friend only for your happiness and not at all because I have some greed of getting job in your company. Then there is no selfishness. Suppose one day you decide to give me some good position in your company. Obviously it will make me happy. Now suppose in the last moment i.e. just before I am going to assume my post, I come to know I will not get that job, it is obvious I will feel sad. But still it is not selfishness because I did not become your friend for any selfish motive. If I continue to be your friend in spite of losing the job, then it further proves that I was not selfish.

Likewise, I agree Anurag loves Prerna. I agree he would have become happy if he could marry Prerna. I agree he was sad on not marrying Prerna. But the important question is why he has always helped Prerna. Has he helped because he thinks by doing so Prerna will decide to marry him? If YES, there is selfishness. If NO, there is no selfishness. As I understand, the answer is "No". As I implied earlier, there is a difference between wishing to marry Prerna and doing something for the sole purpose of marrying Prerna.

Based on the above explanation, I can say that even if Anu did cry in front of his mother because he could not marry Prerna, then also we should not hold him selfish.

i really can't believe people are calling anurag selfish...i mean he is like the king of giving balidaan's... n selfish really😕...seriously, people look up another word in the dictionary tht sounds equally as bad but don't call him selfish cuz not only is tht seriously callow, it jus does not make any sense whtsoever.

Correction:-
In the previous post I wrote "buy Harry Potter moves".
Please read it as "watch Harry Potter movies".

as if Prerna would be happy with Anu if Anu would marry her😆😆She keenly was in love with Rish that time😆😆If u missed those epi then no comment😊

And Andro😊Anu wasnt there as only lead since past 4 yrs😆remember the time when he used to follow Rish blindly during Sharad's track😆😆Peeche peeche ghum raha tha only😕Anyways.....we dont need Dhamakedaar entry for Rish😳Only the entry what was shown is enough😳proving the eternity of PRB relation😳😳He put Sinddor in her maang😳And Prena felt that😳😳It is the eever cute entry after Om's entry in KGGK👏👏He enetered as Parvati's better half and Rish entered as Prerna's👏👏And we wanted only something like this emotional entry😳😳

And abt the char Anu😊He has always been sweet with his cry-baby image😊But the thing is that Rishabh Bajaj took the parallel lead after Ronit entered here😊And at least here none can really urgue😳😊

Hi hi hi this topic is getting rather popular .
There are more reasons Ekta had provided us that Prerna had / has used Anu/. Every time she runs to anu when bajaj is missing and Anu not thinking twice helps her.
last days too she runs to Anu hugs him asks bring back her missing man. Why there are so many at home Tushar or Prem Why she hugs Anu.?

We are not allowed to use previous scenes to provide evidence here but I can name hundred scenes.

Here in Sl too last scene was Bajaj talking to himself that "I know prerna your heart still throbs for Anu. "
Prerna's heart and soul and nerves still cry for Anu.
I do not how Shwetha portray this so naturaly .Hats off for Prerna .
