Vikaas to call the shots soon
Come December, TV actor Vikaas Sethi will branch out to another field of entertainment. The new Prem on Kasuati Zindagi Kay whose role has been reduced considerably in the last two months found free time on his hands and now he plans to direct a film. "The script is ready and I have written it myself in the free time I had in the last few months," he says. The pride is very visible and it should be. There are producers eager to get the work started, he claims, but refused to divulge any names. "I am talking to three producers. But I don't want to offend anyone so the moment one of them okays my script and the condition that I will direct the film, I will make an announcement. All three have been in talks with me and we are working out details," he adds. Did your colleague Rohit Roy's announcement of turning director inspire you too? "I always wanted to be an actor in films, but after my debut film Oops, nothing good came my way so when Kahin Toh Hoga happened I didn't think twice. I am very happy that I chose TV over films.
