Is Samir Sonit the new Rishabh Bajaj?
The grapevine was buzzing that is all still not well between Ronit Bose Roy and Ekta. It was alleged that she was looking for a replacement for Ronit in Kasautii Zindagi Kay and had zeroed in on Samir Soni to play Mr.Rishabh Bajaj.
But Samir denied, "No it's not true. I don't know where this rumour has started but yes I did get calls from Balaji for several serials like Kyunki, Kahaani, Kasautii, but they haven't said anything. I am still talking with them. I can't imagint playing father to 20 year old kids. I don't know how I'm going to play the role if it was offered. The weirdest thing is that even Rohit (Ronit's brother) also called me up and said congrats. I really don't know anything and can't say anything at this point."
Even as insiders at Balaji are not willing to either confirm or dny the rumour Bimbo asked Rohit whether his brother was being replaced and the pompous Roy declared, "There can be only one Rishabh Bajaj! And that is Ronit."
Musical chairs in Kasautii Zindagi Kay?!
But Rohit Roy wont play the younger brother of Rishabh Bajaj was what Bimbo found out recently. The onscreen chemistry of the Roy brothers in Sarrkkar was noticed by Balaji who offered the younger brother Rohit a role in Kasautii Zindagi Kay as Rishabh Bajaj's aka Ronit Roy's younger brother. Rohit confirmed and said, "Yes, I was offered the role of Rishabh Bajaj's younger brother. But the money that they were paying was an issue and also there was a date problem."
The role was then offered to another Rohit, Rohit Bakshi. However, that too didn't materialize and the left overs were finally offered to Amar Upadhyay who lapped it up immediately.
PS: There were two extremely extremely cute picture of Ronit. One on the sets of Sarrkkar, the brothers sitting together, Rohit was singing perhaps and Ronit was smiling at him. And the second one, Omg he was smiling his usual dimpled smile( I should say he was laughing)… in a grey T-shirt. "Ronitpf" if possible do upload the pics.
