Mirror image: Nidhi and Nishi

Nidhi says, "Yes we are telepathic. We think the same, look the same and our habits are almost the same too. Even our likes and dislikes are similar and we are both are into designing."

The sisters, who were born 7 minutes apart, would often get mistaken during their school days:

Nidhi: "I was the captain of my athlete's team but every one would come and wish Nishi 'Good morning captain'. Our schoolteachers would call us together like 'Nidhi-Nishi come here.' Sometime for no reason I would get punished because of Nishi and vice versa. When it came to exams we would always get the same marks with maybe just half a mark difference. We both were into athletics and in sports. I would win the Gold medal and Nishi would win the silver or it would be reversed. My mum used to get us dresses of the same print when we were young. Only the colours of our dresses would differ, nothing else. Till today no one can recognize which of us is Nidhi or Nishi in a glance. Earlier our friends too would get confused but now they manage as with age our faces have changed a little."

Nishi: "We are identical twins and our choices are very identical too. The strong telepathy between us has lead to many funny incidents. Since childhood we have always enjoyed playing funny pranks with teachers and taking advantage of the fact we are replicas of each other. We have grown up together playing lots of sports, studying and doing lots of mischief!"

The twins do have their difference in personality though:
"I'm sensitive but Nishi is not. I am not scared of exams but she is scared of them. I have the highest level of self confidence but Nishi does not have much self confidence." says Nidhi.

Nidhi and Nishi both share a passion for designing
Nidhi, who is from Kanpur, is doing her Graphic Design course from Maya Academy of Animation of Arena Multimedia. She says, "I have completed two softwares in my animation course but because of this show I had to take a break of two months. I'll speak to my director and will rejoin the course again."

Nishi, on the other hand, is studying in her final year at NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), Delhi. She is working as a fashion communicator and graphic designer with Swarovski.

Being in different cities, Nidhi and Nishi miss being together:
Nidhi: "I miss her a lot. We loved each other and we have never had any problem because of our identicalness. Now that we have grown up our faces have grown to be a bit different. My face is long and hers is not. My mother never got confused as to who was who but relatives could not tell."

Nishi: "Though both of us are in different cities we share a common soul and are very attached to each other. I don't remember a day when we have fought badly and I feel the love we share has always been a blessing in our relationship. It's amazing to share 'the bond of the same egg shell.'"

Nidhi is playing Tushar (son of Mr. Bajaj) and Doris' third daughter in Kasuati Zindagii Kay. She has also appeared in the serial Mayaaka with Neha Bamb. This was her second serial where she was cast without any auditions. Nidhi was slated to play Kasturi as well but she could not do it as she looked too young for the role.
