Kkoi takes on Kasautii

The legal wrangle over Arjun's (Ejaz Khan) identity and the on-going court drama in Kkoi Dil Mein Hai (Sony) gets some added time to enable the truth to be revealed.

This weekly half-hour soap turns into a one-hour drama (8 pm to 9 pm) from January 20 with a change in day from Friday to Thursday.

This means Kkoi… replaces Hum 2 Hain Na and Ayushman on Thursday. Both these shows will now run only from Monday to Wednesday.

What's interesting is that Kkoi…, a Balaji show will now take on another Balaji show Kasautii Zindagii Kay which is on Star Plus.

DRAMA CONTINUES: Mr Bajaj (Ronit Roy) and Aurag Basu (Cezanne Khan) in Kasautii Zindagii Kay It is learnt that there was resentment from the makers about the change in day and resultant clash of timings of their two shows. They claim that Kkoi… even on a Friday had managed to garner good viewership compared to the other shows.

But Tarun Katial of Sony says, "This change in day has been necessitated to further cultivate the Monday to Thursday soap run — days when serials are most watched. Audience research has proved that on weekends, including Fridays, soaps do not do as well."

On Fridays at 8 pm, Sony will air Dance Dance, the dance-based talent show anchored by Jaaved Jaaferi. It has Saroj Khan, Vaibhavi Merchant and Terence Lewis as judges.

Sandiip Sikcand, creative director, Kkoi Dil Mein Hai, says, "The current track will focus on Arjun's identity crisis. We are ready to take on the increased timings. A longer time run will enable lots of happenings in a single episode."

Balaji's Kkoi Dil Mein Hai is the story of love and friendship that binds two women Kajal and Krittika (Purva Gohale and Karishma Tanna). Incidentally, Achint Kaur (Pixie of Kittie Party) and Kiran Karmarkar (Om of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii) made special appearances in the show recently.

Both played lawyers who are out to prove whether Arjun is dead. While Kaur's character argues that Arjun is alive, Karmarkar differs. Though their track is over, it is learnt that Karmarkar may be back in the show at a later stage.

anu looked nice in white yesterday but the whole serial is not much beyond a kichdi, why i m soo addicted to this serial..ohh i hope when cezzu leaves this serial, i give up watching this stupid show..

it has no connection with reality and finally ekta kapoor has shown in yesterday episode !! this serial is too much now a days.. i m happy cezaane took a decision to move on with another projects and yeah i do belive cez and amna will look great together😉

i enjoyed everyone questions and messages, cezzu is indeed very sweet, the best thing i liked was his nature, he was too frank and was not at all showing any attitude, i have noticed he loves his fanz alot so guys keep on praying for cezanne and i m surprised none of u talked about his character in PKGJH??

Adity, trip was fab...loved it, but was too cold...I lost my heart to Rome & Vatican..as a result, I didn't find even teh Eiffel Tower very impressive 😆 ...but I was very homesick & was longing to get back home...I ws really really happy when we were landing at Mumbai..so much so that I didn't mind waiting for 2 hrs for my luggage 😉
