The whole blast scene happens again....with the addition of Anurag standing in some random place, turning and getting worried randomly OK - more proof of the "karmic connection" between AP
Mahesh and Aparna run towards the burning car and try to save Prerna. They see that her body has been badly burned. Bajaj gets the call, shouts out "What?!", thereby distracting PD and stopping the engagement. He runs out, leaving everyone confused.
The family get to the hospital where reporters are waiting to pounce on them. They somehow get inside where Mahesh is leaning against the wall. Everyone (except Devki) is in white, and its a really eerie sight when coupled with their setting - the hospital Bajaj asks Mahesh what happened, he tells him. Everyone is shocked. He tells them that Prerna has 60% burns on her body. The colour fades from everyone's faces (quite literally ). Bajaj runs to Prerna's room, as do Prem-Devki. Aparna consoles Mahesh I'm telling you - Mahesh-Aparna are the new Anurag-Komolika/Anurag-Aparna; i.e. the sweet but quite foolish husband and the vamp who ruins his life...
Bajaj goes into see her, the sad version of the title track playing, and the usual medley of flashbacks running. Bajaj's tears are not something I can watch w/o crying myself - RR really takes his role very seriously! Prem is standing outside, remembering flashbacks associated with him, and crying too. Devki comes and consoles him. Aparna calls Mukti and takes her outside.
Prem walks along the hospital corridor and breaks down, he sees a Ganapati murti and makes a decision. Aparna reunites D with her bro, they hug. Ironically, her bro's name is Krishan. Get it? Krishan-Devki, Devki-Krishan...
D wonders whether this is her fault - Aparna tells her that she knows who is behond this. Well of course you do - its you!
Omi walks through the city when he sees the news on a random TV.
Prem walks BAREFOOT (Barefoot, I ask you! ) to the Siddhivinayak Mandir, where the aarti is going on. For those of you who like this aarti, it is sung by Ravindra Saathe for the movie Vaastav.
He prays: "I don't know how to pray, I never learned. All I knew was how to snatch and steal. But now, I beg you, pls give me back the life of the woman who only lives on your trust". OK, I have to say, when I heard that Prem goes to the mandir, I nearly fell off my seat in shock - I couldn't believe there was such a change in his char. BUT, this scene really tore me up - he was so innocent and sweet, and so not used to the idea of prayer, that it really made me cry. I have one concern though - I have heard that Siddivinayak Mandir is very busy most of the time and it is very difficult to get a good view of the murtis and the aarti going on...well, thanks to Ekta Mai's influence, her actors and camera crew got to the front of the line for an optimum view of the prayers
Police give Bajaj the remains of the car, which happen to be some jewellery. He is lost in thought, when the police ask for their stories. He asks whether they have any dushman. Haila! Where's that list???
Aparna says Yuvraj's name. OK, now I KNOW its her - funny how she doesn't hesitate to give his name, even though the question was asked to Bajaj
Aparna tells the inspector everything and Bajju walks out of the hospital. The reporters hassle him again; Omi turns up but Bajju cuts him off and leaves. Omi stares. Omi tells the reporters to shut up and goes inside. He tells Mahesh that Yuvi could not be responsible for this, but Mahesh says that he is DEFINITELY responsible for this. Of course he is
Then he notices that Bajju is gone. They deduce that he has gone to see Yuvi.
Bajaj walks into a dark house and screams for Yuvi to come out. He sees a light on upstairs, and walks that way, stepping in blood w/o realising it. Uh oh...His footseps are caked in blood. He gets up to the room, calling for Yuvi, then he sees some movement in the cupboard. Opening the door, he sees Yuvi's dead body fall out onto him! OMG! OK, so I hated BB, but I didn't want him to die!! And now we know what will happen to poor Bajju! Somehow, Bajju is holding the murder weapon in his hand and has blood on his suit Drop the knife, silly!! Then he hears police sirens, sees his bloodcaked footsteps and wonders how the police are here. Duh! They came to ask Yuvi questions!! He thinks that someone is responsible for this. But instead of leaving the room quickly or at least hiding, he stands there, wiping blood off his hands as the poilce enter and see the scene Naturally, they arrest him.
At home, Prem asks whether everything will be ok, as he is scared..Oh My freaking GOD! He's SCARED? PREM. IS SCARED?????? Blooody ridiculous
Aparna consoles again, blah blah blah. Is she the new Prerna? Or at least the new Bhashan Devi - everyday I have to hear her crappy bhashans about right and wrong...
Indro (still calling her Maha Mai) comes in and turns the TV on, where Bajaj's arrest is headline news. This is Aparna's reaction to it:

Bajaj is shown completing the police procedures, in black and white, with the title track, much like Prerna did some time ago.
