Some posting here have been made about the raaz 20 years back and there has been an argument that how Prerna could have known Mahesh 20 years back as he was introduced only after the generation leap.

Some of them are forgetting that along with the Post Generation Leap of 20 years, there has been another leap of 5 years after Prerna being jailed. In all it is 25 years. So it is natural that Prerna could have known Mahesh 20 years back.

I shall give you an example

1) Now it is 2006

5 years back before Prerna being jailed it was 2001

2) From 2001, 20 years back would be 1981 when Mahesh was introduced.

So according to Bajaj, Prerna and Mahesh the incident or raaz they are talking about has happened 20 years back from 2006, that is in 1986. Hope now your questions have been solved. Prerna has known Mahesh in all for the last 25 years and not 20 years as some of you are thinking. So Sanaa, your question might have got an answer here.
