'Ssshh… Phir Koi Hai' has all the ingredients of a gripping serial

The Friday programming band on Star One had been revamped to include fun, romance, adventure and non-stop entertainment. Added to this is a new adventure series with loads of energy, fun and boo's.

The new primetime show 'Ssshh… Phir Koi Hai' (Star One) is premiering on November 3 and will have innovative concepts with high recall value and jumps through well designed boo's.

Produced by Contiloe Films, the series will span the length and breadth of India. "It's a boo horror show. It is going to be entertaining horror as opposed to scary horror. Violence has to be suggestive so we will be staying away from blood and gore," says producer Abhimanyu Singh on the concept.

"It's earlier edition on Star Plus has been a success with nearly 160 episodes. Unlike the first time, we will not be having a linear character Vikrant but instead make this more episodic with different characters. The locations used are high on visual and show the protagonists, a bunch of youngsters, getting booed right through to finally surviving the ghostly ordeal they are put through," he adds.

Revealing that the first edition had launched many fresh faces like Ronit Roy, Abhimanyu is sure that many new faces will be noticed yet again. "We have actors like Rahul Jagtiani, Mukul Dev and Jas Arora, amongst others. And, we plan to introduce film celebs as the show progresses." quips Abhimanyu.

'In the past year, we have delivered on this promise with innovative programming and 'Ssshh…' will be weaved into an exciting line-up of programmes that will make Friday prime time viewing on television a whole new experience,' says Star India's senior creative director, Shailja Kejriwal.

There's some real good news for all die-hard Bajajians..remember the rocking time before the leap when Rish was angry with Prerna and they had all those rocking confrontations? The screenplay writer and story writer that time was Mahesh Pandey- he was away for such long- he had taken up work in Kumkum, but now he's back in the KZK team as story and screenplay writer!!!

They lacked chemistry but it was not TOTAL thanda as Manasi as saying, I am dead sure that there's gonna be a major panga aka showdown between Rishabh and Prerna tomorrow- because I think he's turned back to the man who did not beleive in God, he refused to enter the dargah , remember?

And also, he was still wearing the hat and glasses when he supposedly 'reunited' with Prerna, for me those accessories meant artificiality and the fact that he still had a mask on his face..there are loads of skeletons in his closet and that's for sure..I am just waiting for them to come in front of Prerna...he wasnt indulging in any physical activity with Prerna, I think the scene was meant to be that way- because it's very unlike Ekta NOT to derive mileage out of such a big turn in the story!! :O)
