LOL yeahhh sunny!
They have been showing this 'bond' between Mihu and Damini all along! Right from when the show leaped..

The way Damini used to sigh when Mihir let the kids fight and didnt do anything, the way she walked up to him when he was outside Sahil's room when he came home drunk..awwwww
