The story goes like this, prerna gets married to Anu but she lovingly looks after balaji's kids as well. THey live happily ever after and all of a sudden, Bajaj returns - HE WAS NOT DEAD !!!!!!!! 😛 ! and he asks, prerna to return to him. But prerna refuses as his ex wife (menaka bose) still have not divorced him.
Mean while, Komalika and sonu kidnaps prem for a ransom and some how, while trying to make prem unconcious, he dies. So, anu and prerna blame eachother saying that its your fault that it happend and blah blah
Komalika doesn't give up on her idea to ruine the Basus and prerna so she gets to gether with Bajaj and create photographs of Anu with other women and blah blah blah and poisons prerna's mind. However, later on, pererna feels sorry for balaji and she meets him and assists him with his problems and all that, but she still remains VERY LOVING TO ANU AND DO NOT CHEAT ON HIM. However, Anu gets jealous about prerna's and balaji's friendship and suspects that they have a secret affair, but in reality they are only friends.
During this time, prerna gets pregnant with anu child, but anu says that it is a result of her relationship with balaji and he chases off the pregnant mother out of the house and divorces her !! Prerna is very upset and since she has no other option, she goes back to balaji. Then when the baby is born, balaji gives his sir name and looks after the child as his own - her name is Sneha. At some point, they do a blood test to prove it anu's daughter, but komalika switches the report and so it doesn't appreat to be anu's child. However, when ever little sneha asks about her farther prerna tell that its Anurag Basu and so on but all at Basu house redicules it and even say things to hurt little sneha too.
Anu gets married again to a girl called Aparna (another komalika) !!! life goes on and they finds out that Sneha is suffering from borne cancer and the doctors say that only a brother or a sister of sneha can give her the necessary bone marrow so if they are to save sneha they have to have another child. So, prerna tells this to Anu and again they do a blood test and there anu finds out that sneha is his own child. He get very upset TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO upset about his foolishness as it was the case for divorcing prerna as well, so he beg him for forgiveness from Prerna but she do not forgive him. However, she realizes that he truly regrets for what he did and slowly let Sneha build contacts with Anu. So, with the concent of Balaji and aparna, they try for a child (only to save sneha and because they in love or anything like that) So she gives birth to a son and they name him Prem to remember their previous son as well.
During this time, prerna falls truly in love with bajaj and he is so kind and looks after her kids and all that she tells everyone that she wants to have a wedding and marry Balaji again. (though they were married all this time, they did not have any physical relationship as Prerna was in love with Anu). So, anu volunteers and organized everyting for their wedding and like prerna's farther, he takes his hand during the wedding and gives her to Balaji, but inside anu, he is so in love with Prerna, but is happy because prerna is happy.
So, they live a nice life, but Prerna often think of Anu as well. Meanwhile, prerna gets pregnangt with Balaji's child and give birth to another daughter named Kasak. Prerna's life goes on and then Anu's life becomes a mess. Again, komalika kidnaps the second prem and prerna blames him for that as it happend when prem was with him.
They find out that aparna is also another komalika and that she has a son. So oneday, aparna tries to stabs anu and thinks he has died and run away. Anu was not dead, but he takes care of Aparna's son and they go to Anustralia and only returns in 20 years !!!!!!!!!
Now recently, after 21 years, they have found prem but to see aparna has been keeping prem and she has nmade him a real roudy, smoking and drinking man !!!!! The story now a days, is about prerna trying to rescue prem who is very stouburn and do not like anu or prerna as Aparna has spoiled his mind...
