Anurag: Shes right, mum, whats the hurry?
Suman: You shouldn't delay it too much either, what if complications arise?
Shweta: Nothing like that will happen and besides, i'm not going to wait till
i'm 30.
Mohini: Its pointless arguing with you two.
Shalu: Shweta, say if you get pregnant and its unplanned, then what would you
do? Would you abort the child, with the claim your not ready for that commitment?
Shweta: Of course i wouldn't abort it. I guess i'll just prepare myself.
Anyway, such a situation isn't going to arise.
Kash: You think it wouldn't but it could do.
Shweta: Why are you both talking like that?
Mohini, Vikram, Abhinav and Suman walk out.
Shweta is really confused and wonders why Mohini, Vikram, Abhinav and Suman left.
Shalu: The reason being, neither me or Kash wanted children right away, it just
happened. Thats why, its best to remain prepared for such things.
Anjali and Aryan are a bit taken aback by the discussion and decide to leave
since its getting late.
Anurag goes to see them out.
Meanwhile, Rajeev, Kash, Akshat and Shalu ask Shweta what she has planned for
Anurags birthday.
Shweta is confused and tells them she was thinking to either plan a party for
him or keep a small candle lit dinner for just the two of them (Shweta and Anurag).
They all tell her she should just keep a candle lit dinner here and home and
the rest of them will go out for the evening.
Before Shweta can say anything further Anurag walks in again and asks why
everyone is so quiet.
Anurag: You haven't been planning some surprise party for me or something?
Rajeev: Yeah, after the reaction you gave at the surprise party we kept for
your 21st.
[Flashback]
All the lights are off and Rajeev enters with Anurag hilton hotel.
As they both walk in the light goes on and a whole load of Anurags classmates
along with Akshat, Shalu and Kash shout surprise.
At first Anurag looks shocked and then his face goes all red with a look of
irritation in his eyes.
He then walks out of the place.
Everyone is left stunned with Anurag's behaviour.
Rajeev and Kash follow him out to find out what the problem is.
Anurag sees Rajeev and Kash.
Rajeev: Why'd you walk out?
Anurag: I hate these surprise parties.
Kash: Ok, but for now atleast come inside, what are the people going to think.
Anurag: Fine but only coz i have no choice.
[End of flashback]
Shweta: Anurag, how you be so rude like that? They all went to so much trouble
and you behave like that. The least you could have done was pretended.
Anurag: Your telling me how to behave when you were standing outside your own
21st birthday.
Shweta: That was different, i only left for fresh air and if you've forgotten
i was with Anjali.
Anurag: Excuses, excuses.
Rajeev and Akshat: Stop behaving like little children, your old enough to be
having children.
They both stay quiet.
Anurag and Shweta one after the other go off.
However, Shweta goes to her old room.
She starts looking around and all her childhood days of playing with Anjali
come alive in images to her.
Also the fights she had with Anurag come to her.
Her crying in one corner when her doll is broken and Akshat fixing it for her
and making her smile again.
Shweta sees the treasure box at the end of her old bed.
She remembers that she hasn't opened it in 13 years.
She sits herself near it and opens it.
Slowly, she goes through all the items in it and she finds the doll that
Akshat used to fix for her everytime it broke.
She looks at it and remembers that she kept it in there after he (Akshat) left
for London, coz it was broken and there was no-one to fix it.
Akshat sees Shweta sitting on the floor, he comes to her and sits himself
beside her.
Akshat: Remembering childhood?
Shweta: Yeah.
Akshat: This doll is still broken after all this time, didn't you get it fixed?
Shweta: How could i have, you weren't there to fix it.
Akshat smiles: That angry with me.
Shweta: How can i ever be angry with you.
Akshat takes the doll from her and fixes it.
He hands it back to Shweta but she tells him to keep it for his daughter,
consider it a gift from her.
Akshat: Won't u ever have a daughter, you'll want to give it to.
Shweta: We'll see when the time comes.
Shalu sees them talking, after putting Rahul and Isha to sleep.
She smiles seeing them talk.
She goes to them and asks them (Akshat and Shweta) what they were talking about?
They both reply, that they were remembering the past.
At night, everyone leaves the house, including Anurag for a short time.
Meanwhile, Shweta is preparing everything in her and Anurag's room.
She's putting up the windchime when Anurag walks in.
Anurag stands there for a while watching Shweta put the windchime up.
Shweta starts feeling a bit dizzy and shes about to fall when Anurag catches
her.
