Tell us about Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa on 9X.

Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa is a unique concept. After being on a reality show and being the winner, I couldn't have been on any other show if not Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa. On this show I will get an opportunity to interact with the people of my age group, and that is very exciting. Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa is going to be a great reality dance competition for me since I will not only be performing but also mentoring my team, and that is something I am looking forward to.

What made you sign on Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa? What are your expectations from the show?

I wanted to do something different after the last reality show. When I was approached for the show, I liked the concept and the best part was that I would be leading the team, and that the winner would be judged according to team performance, and not just due to celebrity status.

Tell us about your team members in Masti Ki Paathshala?

The team selection was very tough -- I felt really awful not selecting the others. All these kids were so talented, so excited about being on the show, I felt terrible saying 'no' to some. It was difficult to make the choice, but what I was looking for was the X Factor. Before the auditions I did speak to all the contestants and assured them that if anyone didn't get selected, it would probably have more to do with luck than talent.

How will you train your team?

I wouldn't call it training; I'd call it mentoring sessions, and these will be very relaxed. There won't be a teacher-student relationship; it will be a team working together to perform to its best, and yes, all of us plan to have fun. We will be like a college team working together on performances. We will do our best to entertain the audience, and do something different week on week.

What do you think will be the USP of Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa? What's your plan of action?

The USP of Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa is that the audience will be the judge, and they will decide the winner. It will be a relief that one will no longer have to face the jury and their criticism. I have already proved myself as dancer on my last show, and in this show, I will be proving my leadership and mentoring skills. Plus the judgment will be on the performance of the team, and not just me, so getting the team to perform to the best of their ability will be the challenge that I face. I haven't decided upon any strategy yet, but I just intend to have fun and make the most of this opportunity. I will try and help my team fulfill their wishes, their dreams. THAT'S going to be FUN!

The show has no jury -- what is your take on that?

Oh that's such a relief! No longer will there be the anxiety of who will say what and how it will be taken by the judges, because this time round, the home tV audiences will be voting through SMS, and only they will decide the winner. Having said that, though, we will miss the constructive criticism of the jury, which could help us better our performances.

Who will be your strongest competition on the show?

All of them! I've seen them before – Ronit… Rohit… I have known them from my earlier shows, so I know how well they perform. Hussain and Rakhi too are great dancers. Shweta too I know through the Balaji camp, and she too is a fine dancer. I'm just looking forward to hanging out with my team and making the most of this opportunity.

There are so many other good participants in 'yeh hai jalwa' Than why interview only parchi and not others like Rakhi, Preyana, hussain etc, who are fabulous dancers. Why so much hype for prachi and not for others.Is 9x planning to do another Jhalak Dhikilaja, where good dancers were thrown out and prachi won?? She says she is choreographing the dancers. she is lying. She herself is a non-dancer, how can she choreograph good dancers ? Prachi does not stand a chance next to great dancers like Rakhi, Hussain or Preyana. Why only prachi's dance photos are posted everywhere and not that of other participants. We witnesed on holi day episode, on 'Star news', where prachi made a fool of herself, and walked out, after Sanjitha and the choregrapher laughed at prachi's non-dancing abilities.Prachi should be thrown out in the first week it self. 9x channel beware, your TRP will collapse if you support and give importance to a non-dancer Prachi.Why take her in the 1st place? Trying to please Balaji camp or what?

Please visit the Jalwa website n u can see tht EVERYONE has been interviewed not just Prachi

And about her walking of off Rang barse..What do u expect her to do if someone laughs at her? If you see the clip she is just as gd as Sanjeeda and i see no difference.. 😡
Prachi is an amazing dancer and so what if she doesnt have a dancing background..At least she has won something 👏
and the channel must have taken her on looking at what she can do..Why would they embarass themselves by putting someone who cant dance on the show? 😕
This is meant to be about suporting Prachi not bashing..I think your in the wrong place...
