The drive back home was quiet, as both Bani and Atharva had fallen sleep; Ayush and Amit were talking in whispers.
For some reason Jai couldn't get his mind of the pediatrician Dr. Jatin, what a big flirt he thought to himself as he drove towards his house.
Jai turned of the ignition of his car, Bani woke up from her nap, and looked at her surrounding and got out of the car. Jai picked up an sleeping Atharva, who was sucking his thumb in his sleep. It's one of Atharva's bad habbit that both Jai and Bani tried taking away but they failed several times.
After putting Atharva in bed Jai went to wish goodnight to Ayush and Amit, while Bani went to kiss good night to her youngest son but much to her surprise she found him to be awake and waiting to tell her something.

Jai entered his room it was semi dark, his night suit was kept on the bed, but his darling wife was not in sight. Picking in his night suit, Jai went to the bathroom to change.
After changing he came out inside of his room, and heard the closet door click. An smiling Bani came out carrying an box. She walked up to her husband side of the bed, and taking his arms and rolling the sleeves of his night suit, she started putting the cuff on his upper arm.
"Bani what are you doing?" He asked, eyeing her and the instrument, he shivered has he felt the cold metal piece of stethscope and then she watched the spedogmeter( i can't remember the name😭😭😭 but i used in my dental class)as she heard for the first click/pluse and then the second.
"Taking your blood pressure."
"What?" He looked shocked.
"Shhh, don't talk or I won't be able to hear you problem, and she looked at the glass for the number."
After she was done, she took out the stethoscope and put it away.
"Bani why did you take my blood pressure?" Looking irrated. My blood pressure is normal.
"Relax hubby dearest, I wanted to know, if you blood pressure was normal after the dinner or not." She gave him an mischief smile.
"Normal," he repeated and looked confused.
"Of course after you meant Jatin," she smirked.
"I wasn't jealous." He defended himself.
"Did I mention you were jealous, I didn't after all Dr. Jatin Shah was suppose to be an senior citizen," she gave him an mocking look. "How is my hubby supposed to be jealous of an senior citizen?" She chuckled, as she made her way towards their walking closet and went to put the equipment back.
"Well I just assumed, as you called Dr. Shah."
"You assumed wrong", she came back and joined him in their bed. I want you to apologize to Jatin for referring to him as senior citizen.
"Bani…do I have to?"
"Yes you do, he is my high school friend."
"How come you didn't mention him before."
"He just arrived from London with his family. Jatin has started working his father Dr. Deepak Shah, for some reason Atharva likes Jatin company."
"Great now my son also likes chipku's company." Jai mumbled.
"Jatin is not an chipku, unlike your ex girlfriends, Bani shakes her head.
"Goodnight Bani," trying to end the conservation, as he knew she would take ages, I am feeling sleepy. As he turned her side of the lamp of and put the cover over head.
Bani looked at her husband, with annoying face, she leaned over and shook him. "Oh Jai, I almost forgot as she woke him up."
"Bani go to sleep we will talk later."
"Fine don't blame me when you find out that our Ayush as an girlfriend."
"What? " He turned on his lamp, and sat up, giving his wife his full attention. "He is to young."
"Relax Jai, Atharva assumed just because Ayush friend was holding his hands their girlfriend and boyfriend because Ayush is an boy and she is an girl, and he put two and two together."
Bani narrated the whole story that Atharva had narrated to him, and at the end of it both JB were laughing.
"Thank god," Jai breathed an sign of relief. "Atharva is to smart for his age and such an trouble maker," he stated.
"He is not, he is such an darling, bye the way don't you dare call any of my sons trouble maker. After all they got it from their father." She watched her husband roll his eyes.

"Cooties, I haven't heard that since ages." Jai chuckled at himself., wrapping his arms around her, and kissing the side of her cheeks and whispering against her ears, making her feel all tingling even after so many years of marriage. "He is right girls do have cooties, cooties and spells that make guys chase after that."
"I think we should tell the boys, girls don't have cooties." She looked into her husband eyes.
"Nah, let them find out themselves, it will ruin our fun." His voice was full of mischief and eyes were twinkling. Nodding her head her husband was still an child at heart, feeling her self yawning.
"Good-night Bani" As he saw his wife having that sleeping look.
"Goodnight Jai."
Both went to sleep with an smile playing on their lips.
