Episode begins with the Jigz bringing in the witch Maayi and she's looking around. The witch asks her if all is well and if all is well then she's not happy. She tells Jigz that only people like her ask for her help. She knows that Jigz has called her b'coz she needs her powers. Maayi( keeps reminding me of Ekta) asks Jigz why she's called her. Maasi is shown tying a sacred thread around the broken idols of Ram and Sita and Dadi tells her that these idols are broken, but Masi tells her that these idols have been in the family for generations and that like before , she'll lay a fresh foundation. Maayi is shown promising Jigz that she will do her job. She can bring the evil eye/ evil epirits/ black magic to change the fortunes of a home and has done it many a time before. She takes out a black thread and does some mumbo jumbo with it and gives it to Jigz. She tells it to tie it outside the house with her own hands and henceforth only that would happen which Jigz would want. No one will have any joy in the family except you, no good will happen to anyone in the house except to you. They show Maasi tying her sacred thread given to her by the panditji and Jigz tying the black thread given by Maayi, and as usual the sacred thread breaks. Both Maasi and Dadi are terrified at what new trouble will befall the house and Maasi decides to go to the panditji to find a solution to the problem. Maayi tells Jigz that from today, she will rule WM like before and everyone will believe your words. Jigz tells her that Jai loves Bani a lot and will not listen to a word against her, but Maayi reassures her that the strength of her powers will make everyone believe whatever she wants them to believe. Maayi twists the swaastik sign at the entrance and tells her that from now on this twisted sign will simply symbolize destruction. There are homes that think they are invulnerable to her powers but every home has a betrayer/ a Vibhishan from within who brings destruction. She tells Jigz to go and talk to her brother.
Adi is consoling Jai telling him that he needs to be strong for Bani's sake when Jigz comes and tells him that Bani doesn't need Jai. She tells Jai that my kids are gone, only you my brother are still there and I love you and want your well being. Adi tries to shut her up saying that no one's interested in your truth, but Jigz refuses to shut up. She tells Jai that had she told him the truth earlier then today maybe the children would have been alive. Adi begins dragging her off and Jigz tells Jai that she knows who is responsible for Krishna and Atharv's death. Jai then tells her to speak but if its her usual nonsense he'll kill her. Jigz then taunts him if he has the courage to hear that its the children's mother, his wife Bani who's responsible for the kids death. Jai tells Adi to make her shut up, she's accusing a woman who has just lost her kids and she should be supporting her. Jigz then says that Bani does not need the support of anyone in the house and definitely not his coz she's found her source of support and that's Daksh. She tellls him that look at what you've become. There was a time when people would throng for a glimpse of you, the media would run after you but ever since Bani has come into your life you have changed. You've become weak, lost your home, business all because of her. You look twice your age and that's why Bani likes a man with wealth, power and youth. Why will she spend her life with an old man like you.
Jigz says that the bitter truth is that Bani is having an affair with Daksh. She continued meeting him even after you told her not to and that's why she sent him to Khandala to see Bani's truth with his own eyes. She then shows him the Bani Daksh wedding snaps and tells him that your Bani has married Daksh and on KC night she was with him at the moment the kids were kidnapped. It was she who took money froim Daksh and paid the kidnappers when you'd told her not to and because of her the children are dead. Jai looks at the pictures with a mad look in his eyes and storms off. Jigz gives a satisfied smile. In her room Bani is looking at the pictures of the children and Daksh says Bye and advises her to not just wallow in sorrow but to be Jai's strength. Jai comes storming in and Bani is worried to see him so wild. He grits his teeth and asks Bani where she was on KC night and whether she was with Daksh. Bani says yes and Jai slaps her. He holds up the photos and asks her what is the meaning of this. Bani tries to explain and Daksh tries to intervene but Jai tells him to stay out of it. Jai then begins dragging Bani out of the house, while Rano, Raashi, Nattu and Purva run behind. Maayi looks on and cackles loudly. Episode ends.
1. Jai is definitely a prime candidate for diabetic cerebral degeneration. And after his ONS stunt, to not even give her the chance to explain!!
2. Does the Oh So Religious Kekta Maayi want us to believe on the eve of Diwali that the power of black magic is more powerful than the power of God?? Coz that's what the interplay and snapping of thread seems to imply.
3. BTW why was Jigz so thrilled to be called Vibhishan, he's not exactly an exemplary character in the Ramayan.
Anyway its been a pretty stressful week for all KS watchers so I'll end with a Happy Diwali to all of you. No update tomorrow from me so all of you will have to make do with the video.
