Episode begins with Bani picking up the bloodstained clothes of the children. Both Jai and she look horrified, its every parents nightmare coming true.(Thanx Zee for a lovely Diwali gift to your viewers). She sways and both Rano and Raashi rush to support her. She yells at Jai why he did this, why couldn't he pay up and get them back The phone rings and the kidnapper asks Jai whether his gift was appreciated. Jai asks him if the children are okay and the kidnapper says that as of now they are, but any more police imvolvement he'll kill them. He tells Jai that its like playing a game of chess, till the end no one knows who'll be checkmated. Jai asks to speak to the kids and Atharv is put on the line. Bani snatches the phone from Jai and speaks to her child. Atharv says that they are alright and that they are missing them. Bani says that they are missing them too and Atharv asks why ahe's crying. Bani asks to speak to Krishna(a heartwrenching scene) and little lisping Krishna comes on the phone and tells her mother that she's afraid and wants her mother to get her. Bani tells her daughter not to be afraid and that she'll come to get her. She tells her that its like a chor police game and Krishna is like the hiding chor and Bani is the police who will find her. Still Krishna keeps crying and keeps telling her mother to come soon. Atharv then takes the phone and tells Bani to come soon and to bring chocolates for them. He tells his mother to get the school programme CD which they'll watch together. The kidnapper then takes the phone and tells Bani that your kids are safe . Bani begs him not to harm them. The kidnapper says thaat he's not hard hearted but if they don't pay they have no choice. First he'll kill the daughter, ladies first, coz girls have soft hearts and she will not be able to see her brother being killed first. It takes just 15 minutes to kill a child and he'll make a video of their dying moments and send it to them(Sick, Sick, Sick). He tells them that he's giving them a last chance, today evening at 4 to bring 3 crores to the old Dayal factory. Only Bani should come and no police involvement. Bani hangs up and Jai asks her what he said. But Bani refuses to tell them, saying that he doesn't understand, all they have to do is pay them and get the kids back. She'll go alone, pay them and bring back the kids. Jai tells her to trust him there will be no police involvement. As soon as Bani tells him the details Jai turns to go to chalk out a new plan with the plice. Bani gets hysterical and tries to stop him but Jai yells at her that he knows what he's doing. Bani breaks down sobbing for her kids telling the others to stop them As Jai is leaving Daksh comes there and tells Jai that though its not his place to say anything, he too feels Jai should pay the money and get the kids back. Jai thanks him for his opinion but tells him that he knows what he's doing.
At the police station a plan is being chalked out and the inspector tells Jai that this time the plan is foolproof and they will catch the gang in their den. He reassures Jai that by dinnertime his children willl be home. Daksh at WM tells Bani to take 3 crores from him and get back the kids. Bani refuses saying that she must ask Jai but Daksh tells her that they have to save the kids first. He owes so much to Bani, she's done so much to help him recover and that this is his way of trying to repay the obligation. He tells Bani that he knows better than anyone else what it is to lose loved ones. He gives her the mney and tells her to get the children back.
At the mandir Maasi has planned a havan for the longevity for the JB relationship, because she does not want their relationship to break. In Mumbai the police are working out their strategy with JW, and Daksh and Bani leave for the factory with the money. The three scenarios are shown one after the other . A strong wind begins blowing and the havan fire goes out. The priest tells Maasi that its a very bad omen and the people she was praying for are in grave danger. He tells Maasi to return and Maasi agrees to return immediately.
At the factory one of the goons asks Pink Ring what the modus operandi is and he's told that if the money is not received then the kids should be killed. One of the goons comes with the info that a car has just come. The kidnapper says that it must be the mother after all only a mother will come to save her kids before time. Daksh offers to go in with Bani but she stops him saying that she's ben called alone. She goes in and the kidnapper gets the news that she's come with the money. He tells his sidekicks to get the money. The goons surround Bani and she demands her kids before giving them the money. While they count the cash, Krishna and Atharv are brought to Bani. Bani picks up Krishna. Just then police sirens are heard(What, are the police/JW crazy or what). The kidnappers panic and snatch the children from Bani. Bani is thrown to the ground as they run off. Pink Ring tells all of them to make a run for it. JW comes with sirens blaring and is shocked to see Bani there. She yells at him for coming as she had got the kids back. She tells him that he'll be responsible if anything happens to them. The police chase the kidnappers who are rushing to their vehicle with the kids and begin randomly firing. Bani yells at JW to stop them as their childen could get shot. Jai rushes after the plice telling them to stop shooting. Episode ends on Bani's shattered face.
1. Police came to rescue kidnapped victims with sirens blaring. Did they think the kidnappers were hard of hearing or were playing statue statue with them and would freeze in place. What utter nonsense.
2. Krishna's dialogue with her mom, begging her to come soon and that she was so scared was just heartbreaking.
3. PD enacted the role of a mother stricken with grief really well. Today she has put to rest all the complaints of not being able to emote the role of a mom. Just shows that with proper scenes and dialogues, the actors turn out sterling performances.
