Shootout at Balaji
In a recent cross-promotion exercise, Suniel Shetty had made a special appearance in Shootout At Lokhandwala in Kasamh Se. Shetty's Popkorn Entertainment has also signed a three-film co-production deal with Balaji Telefilms.
The films, under their banner, will be directed by Joy Augustine, Vikram Singh and Apoorva Lakhia. About the deal, Shetty says, "I had signed up with Balaji a while ago." Shetty recounts his first meeting with Ektaa Kapoor, "When I met Ektaa for some work, the kind of love and respect she gave me was amazing. She kept saying that she'd often tell her father that she wants to work with me. She couldn't explain why she felt the connection with me, but to be told so felt nice."
Saying that Kapoor is an achiever, he added, "That child has built an empire and yet, she's very humble. I consider it my privilege to work with her. Hopefully, we'll do some good work together."
