NOTE: I included everyone that either PM'ed me or posted on the ff that they wanted to be at the wedding/sangeer...sorry if I missed you but I checked and recheked to make sure that I included all that wanted to be included...everyone is friends here...we are all one big happy family...im adding to peoples characters as I go along...no offence intended...all in the name of fun and masti...sorry if this offends anyone...and oh yeah...so sorry in advance if again this bores u to tears...
The day of the sangeet was here and again there was tons and tons of work to be done. Anu and Jigyasa had the luxary of sleeping in because it was their day and no one wanted them to be working. Rano...well...Rano was Rano. When Bani went to wake her up she saw Rano cuddled very nicely inbetween Jigyasa and Anu on the huge king sized bed. All Bani had in terms of help was Aviva...and thank God for that. There was so much to be done. Now that it was a laides & gents sangeet there were changed that needed to be made...ordering extra food and chairs...the DJ needed copies of songs that were going to be part of the sangeet. Bani wanted some help from the guys but that wasn't going to happen. Ever since the night before the guys were all sulking like no tomorrow. Bani asked Jai over and over again what was wrong but he wouldn't budge; neither would any of the other guys. Finally Rano told them that it had to be because of what Rano had said. They couldn't help but laugh and yet at the same time they felt bad that the bubble of their men's dreams and victory had bust. Even this morning at breakfast they were quiet and then left with excuses of having too much work at the office. Bani let them go but was now up to her neck in work.
Bani and Aviva had been working for about an hour when all of a sudden there was lots of comotion coming from the door. The went to see what was going on and as soon as they looked their faces broke into huge smiles... they were saved...they had help...a few friends showed up early....Debo, Sheena, Melonie and Kripa....
Debo- Loh hum log jaldi aagaye!
Mel- Haan...im sure that u all need some help kyun?
B- Omg...yes yes YES! We need all the help we can get.
Kripa- Haan, Jigyasa aur Anu toh kuch karega nahin aaj aur Rano...well...Rano is Rano...uss se umid kaam rakhe toh aacha hai!
(they all laugh when they hear a "HEY" coming from the stairs; they turn to see Rano coming down)
R- Hey! Main itni buri nahin hoon!
Av- Yeah...paata hai ke tu kitna aacha hai.
Sheena- Rano...we know you...aagar tera naam lehti hoon to the term "lazy bones" comes to mind.
Debo- Haan tu toh....(catching a movement off to the side) dehko... Dee bhi aagayi...
R- " Dee " yeh " Dee " kaun hai?
(someone pulling Ranos ear from the back)
"Toh tum aapni Dee-di ko bhul gayi"
(Rano turns and sees who it is and hugs her)
R- OMG...Auditi di...aap...haila...call it a senior citizen moment...main aapni Dee-di ko kaise bhul sakit hoon.
Dee - Yeh hui naa baath; (hugs go around) ok aab bolo...where do u need us...
"WAIT!" came a voice from the back.
B- Rooj tum bhi...wow...so good to see you.
Rooj- Ok im fine...im sure ke you are fine...yeh saab baatein chodo...
Melonie- Haan hum tumhe help kaarne aaye hai...so lets go...
Rooj- Uff baba...help baad mein...pehele yeh bolo...where is my jiju...bhai...hum bhi toh dekhe...
Debo- Oh yeah...where are the jiju's...
Av- Sorry but wohlog saab kaam paar gaya hai...office you know...
Sheena- Kya!? Aaj ke din bhi?
Bani and Avivas glances moved to Rano. A guilty Rano spilled the beans about what had happened the night before and how the guys were totally bummed out that they had lost in the end no matter how hard they tried. The girls fell into a fit of laughter and they were rolling at the thought of the guys in saris and lehengas. The rest of the morning and erly afternoon went by pretty fast. With the help of their friend time flew. They had been talking non-stop as they worked. They caught up on so much that had happened in the last few months. They barely stopped for a short lunch. Towards late afternoon a few mone friends came to help...Diey, Niru, Fern, Nikita and Goddess...but by then most of the work was done. So they were off to get ready and help with Jigyasa and Anu who and just been lounging around all day and talking to the girls.
Everyone was helping everyone else. Goddess was in charge of hair...that is how she gained that nickname from her friends. She had magical hands when it came to hair styling. When she was done with you your hair looked so beauticul and shiny...the way it was shaped around your face or fell on your shoulders made you look like a goddess. Rano had originaly named her Goddess Hair-Rani...but that was a mouthful so the had cut it to Goddess. She had her own salon that ws very busy and famous...'Goddess Creations'
A- Aacha Goddess tera toh humeahs line laga reheta hai salon mein...aaj tu yahaa kaise?
Goddess- Aare Anu...mere yaars ke shaadi hai...aur main naa aaun, yeh kaise hosakta hai.
Diey- Haan, we had to come...all of us...vaise jaab Bani ne shaadi kiya ussne toh humein nahin bulaya...
B- Aare yeh kya...its not my fault....shaadi itne jaldi hogaya ke....
Fern- Bahana...bahana...saab bahana....
B- Come on guys...aaisa maat kaho...woh unhone planning kiya tha...
Niru- Khabardar aagar mere jiju ko blame kiya toh!
Nikita- Haan...yeh kyun nahinkehete ke tujhse raha nahingaya...Jai Walia ke saath shaadi kya tai hogaya ke tu toh nikal padi.
Goddess- Haan...itni besabri tik nahin hai Bani....vaise...shaadi ki itni jaldi kya thi...ahem...kuch khaas baath? (winks)
B- Nahin...nahin toh...
"Vaise maine sunna hai ke Jai Walia is a playboy"
Jig- Aare Sanju tu...finally...itni dher lagadi!
Sanju- Oops...not hai but tha... maine sunna hai ke JW bohot bada Playboy tha...shaadi se pehele. Bani yeh bolo...tum ne aaisa kya jaadu kiya ke confirmed bachelor JW bhi ghutno pe aagaye?
B- Tum log bhi naa...
R- Didi...haye...kya sharmana
They all look at Bani and see that she is a very bright shade of red...head to toe. They laugh and tease Bani some more. Goddess finished all the hair for the girls and what not. Finally around 5pm the much awaited lady finally showed up.
Av- Aparna...yeh koi waqt hai aane ka...what happened to you.
Aparna- Aare yaar poochu maat...yeh india ke traffic toh tum jaante ho. Pehel studi jaana pada you know...saaman laane...phir yaad aaya ke Jigs memsaab only uses MAC toh woh laana pada. Phir...main kya bolu...pichle 1.5 ghante se car mein thi.
B- Oh...thats too bad...ok aab baatein kaam aur makeup session zyada.
Aparna- Ok baba...chill...saab hojayega...who is firt..?
Aparna began doing the make up on the girls and they all looked beautiful at the end. By this time the guys are all home and in Jai's study doing...well in don't know...whatever. Everyone wants to meet the jijus...well Jai mainly...but it will have to wait because they need to get changed.
R- Humare 'fashi divas' kahaa hai...
Jig- I will kill them..aane doh unhe...chodungi nahin main un dono ko!
A- Chill Jigs...woh aate hi honge...
Jig- Kya chill...look at the time...its already 7:00 ...guests aate hi honge!
Av- Not 'aate honge' already aa chuke.
"WHAT!?!"
Jig- Guests aa chuke aur hum abhi tyaar nahin hai!!!!
A- Ill kill them...both of them....
Jig- Kyun...aab tumhara "Chill" ka kya hua...out the win..........
At that moment you see two girls staggering in with their hands filled with boxes and clothing and God knows what else.
B- Uff ho...Mamta, Tiff...tum dono ne itni dher kyun kiya...niche guesta already aa chuke hai...
Mamta- Bani poocho maat....it not my fault...saab iski ghalti hai (pointing to Tiff)
Tiff- Aare... maine kya kia....aajeeb baath hai... maine kuch kiya hi nahin lekin dosh mera hi hai....
Mamta- Kyun ji...aapne kuch nahin kiya...who couldn't leave the shop until 'Saath Phere' ended!
Tiff- Hey...Saloni zindabad got it...aur who was on the phone ofr 2 hours...omg...kya stimulating conversation..."main rakthi hoon...pehele tum rakho...tumne bhi toh rakha nahin" OMG ...i was almost going to hang up for you!
Mamta blushed but was saved from a bombardment of questions because it was late. Tiff and Mamta kicked all the others out to get ready else where while they got Anu and Jigyasa ready. They had gotten everything to be perfect...from the outfits to the bangles to the jewelry to the cute bindis...everything was perfect. It was expected from Manta and Tiff...they were the hottest and most wanted stylists of indian wear world wide...not only in India but also in the US and UK.
All the girls looked ravshing as they entered the main hall...each one looking every bit the model they were inside...lol...Jigyasa and Anu looked beautiful and by the way Sahil and Adi were looking at them...Mamta and Tiff were 200 % successful. Jai was busy mingling with some guests when Bani came over and...
B- Ji aapko sara din nahin dekha.
J- Aagar aapni hen-party se fursat milti taab dekhti naa. (pretend angry)
B- Hen-Party!!!...dekhiyeh...woh saab humare dost hai...meri shaadi mein nahin aapaye toh iss shaadi se they are making do. Ok chodiyeh...mujhe aapko unlogo se milvana hai.
J- OMG...all those girls...nahin...ill get nervous.
B- Kyun...ladki hai toh kya hua...aapke sali's hai.
J- Oh "salis"...kya kehete hai..."Sali aadhi ghaar-wali"
B- (playfully hitting Jai) Chaliyeh!
The group of girls see Bani approaching them with Jai Walia with her. They all were now standing up straight; fixing their clothes to make sure that they looked good...they were meeting JW after all...hotter and sexier in person...calling him 'drop dear gorgeous' wasn't enough.
B- Guys...yeh hai tumhare jiju...Jai Walia...aur yeh hai...Debo, Sheena, Dee err...Auditi...Rooj, Goddess, Diey, Niru, Fern, Nikita, Sanju, Kripa, Melonie,Tiff and Mamta.
J- Pleased to meet all my sali's (he shook their hands; shending rushes of electricity up their arms)
R- Jiju...this isnt it...aur bhi log...matlab...sali's baki hai...saab aaye nahin abhi tak.
J- Oh wow...aur bhi hai...(something caught Jais eye) Excues me ladies...mere kuch guests aagya...
Jai leaves and as soon as he does the girls begin to shamelessly compliment him...his looks, his style, his attitude; his personality (they couldn't help it). Bani was blusihng as the teased her some more. Jai saw the three people he had personally invited. They had supported him when he thought all avenues wer closed. He had ot admit that their help didn't go far but not because they didn't try. They tried very hard but it was someone else that was being really stubborn. He went and greated his guests....
J- Ah...Dr Swati, Dr. Rivya and Dr. Navs...so glad you could make it. Swati-ji looking good. (Jai leaned in to place an innocent kiss on Swati's cheek)
Swati- Aare...Mr. Walia...aap bulaye aur hum naa aaye...aaisa hosakta hai kya.
J- Rivya...mind if I call you Riv's...( Jai leaned in to place an innocent kiss on Rivya's cheek)
Rivya- Of course not...Rivs is just fine (in her head) aap mujhe kuch bhi bula sakte hai...call me oye for all I care...just talk to me in that sexy voice.
J- Rivs-ji aap tik hai naa...you look flushed.
Rivs- Nahin...woh...kuch nahin...
J- Navs-ji...kaise hai aap...
Navs- Ji main................................
Navs cant get her whole sentence out because just then Jai leaned in and placed a kiss on her cheek. Before another word can ge said...Navs has a hand on her cheek, a smile on her face and then she **FAINTS**. Jai is stunned at what happened and is about to catch her in his arms when someone from the back grabs her.
J- Omg...kya hua...is she ok? (really worried...awwww)
" Aare kuch nahi usse...baas khabi khabi yeh behosh hojata hai."
J- Ji aap kaun...
"Oh me...i'm Pachu aur yeh hai my friends Jaz, Jigna and Nibbles; we are friends of Bani and Mamta...well all the girls"
J- Oh...nice to meet you...well all of you.
(he shakes hands and what not; exchange pleasentries)
J- Oh errr....(realizing they had forgotten about a passed out Navs) Navs tik hai naa...i mean...kya hua...
Jigna- Aab main kya bataun ke kya hua...woh kya hai na ke...
Nibbles- Khabi khabi she gets light headed...aagar use zyada gharmi lagthi hai toh aksar aaisa hi hota hai (winks at the girls)
J- Gharmi...lekin...AC toh on hai.
Jaz- Aare...Navs stlye ki gharmi aap nahin samjhenge...yeh special type ki gharmi hai. (they all bust out laughing)
J- Ummm...ok...aab kya hoga...
Pachu- Oh baas thoda sa pani chahiyeh...thats all.
J- Ok...main abhi Tony ko bhejta hoon.
Jai leaves to get Tony to bring the water for Navs but he gets caught up with the guys and cant go back to them. Navs finally wakes up and she is sending darrers at the girls...mainly Pachu...i think we all know why *wink wink* The girls are all in a group admiring the outfits and what not...gossiping...and taking about movies with Dadi.
D- Oye hoye...meri CK aagayi!
R- Dadi...yeh CK kya hai?
D- 'Kya' nahin..."kaun"...CK meri jigar ki tukra hai...meri Canadia Kudi
(CK reaches them and gives Dadi a warm hug)
CK- Dadi aap kaise hai?
D- Aare puttar tik tak hoon...tu kaisi hai.
CK- Baas dadi...ek dum first class...vaise Dadi aapne woh nayi film dekhi...kya naam tha...uff...woh joh ek bhoot hota hai aur Arjum Rampal ka picha nahin chodta...
D- Oh ho...'I See You'...haan...puttar dekhi hai...kitna aacha hai...kitni soni kudi hai.
CK- Mujhse bhi soni Dadi (faking sadness)
D- Oye...meri CK se soni koi kudi ho hi nahin sakti!
Bani with Anu and Jiyasa:
B- Tum dono bohot khubsurat lag rahe ho...
Av- Saach mein...aare...look who is here...
Jig- Haye...humare M&M aagaye.
A- Kahaa...oh I see...(the girls come close) toh M&M kaise ho?
"Uff...humein tum log M&M kyun bulte ho...we have names!"
M&M were actually Menna and Meenu; best friends but more like sisters. They had been friends for as long and they can remember and if you saw one you knew the other was close by. Having the names Meena and Meenu turned them into M&M.
B- Ok...Meena...Meenu...kaise ho tum dono?
"Fine thanks"
(the answered together and that's when they all started lughing...typical M&M reaction)
"OMG so sorry im late guys...lekin I had to pick up Amiee and Karishma on my way here"
M- (massi) Tanu...yeh koi waqt hai aane ka!?
Tanu- Sorry Massi...main kya karu...ek lauti drive hoon inka..
R- Oye...mere bugs bunny...where is daffy duck?
Tanu- Oh God Rano...let it go...kitne saal ho chuke hai...aaj bhi tum mujhe 'bugs bunny' bulate ho.
R- You were, are and will always be my bugs bunny...jaab tu budi hojayegi naa...taab bhi main tumhe bugs bunny kehe kaar pukarungi!
Everyone is taking and dancing having fun when Rano decides its time to get the sangeet on the road. She is about to announce to the guests when she sees 3 late commers. Going up to them she says....
R- Yeh koi waqt hai aane ka Guli-o....nahin aati toh bhi chalta!
Guli- Sorry baba lekin kya karo woh aane wale the lekin got too lazy.
R- 'Woh' matlab...(Guli blushes)...oh "WOH"...yani meri jiju...ok....lekin aaya nahin jiju.
Guli- Nahin woh...ummm...kaal shaadi mein aajayega. Vaise tum sirf ujhe daant reho kyun...Sheen bhi toh dher se aayi hai.
Sheen- Hey...aapni ghalti mein mujhe maat ghasito! Vaise im coming from work so I have excuse...and I have a guest....Jaz kahaa hai.
R- Kyun Jaz kyun...
Sheen- Aare yaar kuch toh samja karo...this is Eric...EMT hai...you know..."EMT"
R- Oh. I get it...yeh Jaz bhi aapni EMT's/paramedics/fire fighter ki fassination se kaab niklega...always drooling over the EMS 's....
Sheen- Can you blame her? (winking)
They laugh it off and now its time for the ceremony to begin.......
